I find many democrats have a lot of "opinions" of how the war is not working and identify numerous mistakes however; I have yet to find their war policy or platform on the subject. With such strong opinions, I am sure they have a political platform of how they would run the war. I just haven't seen it.

A homeland security platform or a foreign platform is NOT a "War Platform." Please keep this on topic to the Democratic Platform for the WAR in Iraq. Specifically the exit plan since that is such a concern.

Since so many seem to be lost here… take a look at nefariousx post. That is what I am looking for. However I need the "how" as opposed to brief:
Eliminate Osama Bin Laden, destroy terrorist
networks like al Qaeda, finish the job in
Afghanistan, and end the threat posed by the
Taliban.
Of course that is the Republican plan and most American's plan as well but the platform of how it is going to be done… plus our current fiasco in Iraq solutions.

Please note that in congress the debate has been between republican refusing to admit we will ever leave.
i don't mean like pull out in a year, i mean even suggesting we will leave in 20 years. Their votes are proof.
Secondly that puts us in the question then that the democarts are offering an alternative to never leaving or rahter more of the same...that has been failing us so far...
so the debate is
never ever leave{R} vs. begin a real phase out plan for victory and withdrawl in the futre{D}
if your honest with yourself and others in your heart you want our troops to become back....eventually right??
again thanks for the opportunity to disspell this often made myth that we have no plan.
Heres our domestic plan

Bring some FBI profilers over to work with the Military Intelligence folks to track down the more dangerous of the 'insurgents'. Some 'insurgents' are psychos that Saddam had locked in his prisons because he feared they threatened his power. Some of them have military training and some of them are mass murderers who wanted to start cults around themselves. Who strangled that bus full of people? If we can root out this element, dealing with the sectarian violence will be less murky. We shouldn't have gone to Iraq in the first place, but we are there and must stay there until they can handle their own defense. We need to train them better and not quicker. So we may have to stay for, at least, another 3 years. On the other side of my head, can we just give Iraq to the United Arab Emirates?

They most certainly do, it is a document put together by top Democrat leaders, most are decorated war veterans, working with retired Generals and law enforcement top dogs.
A document called "Real Security" is a comprehensive plan to put the US back on the right track in foreign, domestic, and military policy. They realized that "Yeee-Haw!!!" is NOT a foreign policy.

Now please:War is not a democratic action.Once the decision
has been taken,to go to war that is ,the action is purely a military one;I am sure the democrats have their own military experts to
make criticism....

Does it matter? "The War in Iraq" is "officially" over. We'll have bases over there 'til the return of Jesus himself. Bet on it. The entrenched two-party system that we so enjoy, will make certain of that! - Here we go 'round the Mulberry BUSH... So Early in the Mourning... plenty more mourning to come... plenty to go 'round!

Isn't that like robbing a store (against a friend's advice) and then asking your friend what their plan is to get you out of the store without getting caught?

They've offered several. The republicans are the ones who offer nothing but "we won't cut and run".
