Maybe b/c that area of the world will NEVER ever ever ever....ever, get along. We have been hearing about that crap for decades. BOTH sides deserve a country if they so choose. AGREE ON SOMETHING. We're all just sick of your constant and endless bickering. Sorry, I just don't know why the HELL you people can't make even an attempt to get along and find a compromise. It's an area, the entire middle east and out to Egypt and Sudan even, that is so scared one religion will exterminate their religion that they can't stop to think clearly for a second and TALK, with SINCERE intent to live peacefully.

It's such a joke that they pick up their respected holy book with an AK 47 and go to work. This area of the world is it's own enemy. The fact is, we cared at one point (the world that is), and we truly still do. But, after decades of the same old killing sprees, hijackings, hostage situations, car bombs, mosque/church/synagogue bombings and wars...we have just given up on you. It's our governments (mainly American) that shuts it's eyes. It will say one thing to your face but do another the second you turn your back.
In a nut shell, the world would be better off if, somehow, we could just flip some cosmic switch and delete those areas from the globe.

Because they feel it is a losing situation. It is natural to be upset by the suffering of others and unfortunately it is easier to look away than to get involved.

Palestine is not the only place where people are suffering.

Children are being abducted in Uganda to fight in the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA).

Religious Persecution in Eritrea

400 women and girls have been brutally killed in Ciudad Juarez and Chihuahua, Mexico since 1993.

The Janjawid, a rebel militia group which has terrorized Darfur in western Sudan, is now destroying and depopulating villages across eastern Chad.

The report looks at the barriers to providing durable solutions for persons internally displaced in Sri Lanka by the conflict and the tsunami. Because the whole world has been hopeful for too many years that the Palestinians would do something to show that they are trying to be a legitimate Government. People want to help, they really do, but they also no longer want to fund terrorist organizations. Ha mas was not a good choice in the long run. We see Palestinians blowing up innocent people in Israel, but then the Palestinians scream like banshees when Israel retaliates. We're not shutting our eyes, we are shaking our heads.

You know the saddest thing is individual people like me have our eyes open and we are not fooled by the arguments made by the governments of Israel and the United States on this issue. Unfortunately, the Palestinians who kill Israeli civilians and the Palestinians who cheer for the killings make it hell for the Palestinians who just want the killing to stop so they can feed their families. Every time a Palestinian kills Israelis with a suicide bomb or a rocket, Israel pulls out its gunships and takes much more than an eye for an eye. It's so beyond unfair there's no way to define it anymore--and this latest phase of the intefada started because Ariel Sharon decided to visit a hotly contested holy site with an arrogant attitude. I don't pretend to know much about the total history of your conflict, but I remember the day he went and I remember the day the intefada was called. I hate that the democratically elected Hammas has been treated so criminally by the same government who encouraged the Palestinian people to democracy in the first place. I know it feels like no one is watching, but we are out there. Have hope.

I am American. So that roughly translates into I dont give a %#&# unless it happens in my backyard. And If I show any concern, it is from the saftey of my television screen or the 60 cents a day I send to that kid in Cambodia, whats his name? Anyways. Palestine has had unrest for longer than the US has been a country, after awhile it just becomes an everyday thing. I eat Cheerios every day, someone died in the Gaza strip again, and the Yankees lost to the damn Bo Sox. That is America for you.

The whole world sees it, but what are they suppost to do? Palestinian governments have proven time and time agian they don't care about the Palestinian people with thier actions. Seriously. Kidnapping a Israeli soldier?! Hamas wants to be considered a ligit government, but resorts to terrorist tactics. Furthermore, they hide in residential areas and put civilians are risk! Before Israel destroys most PA or Palestinian police buildings, it gives a warning the attack is coming to minimize fatalities. When was the last time Hamas did that before blowing up a bus full of civilians?
I have NO pity for Hamas members. I wish each and everyone of them a painful death. Not just for the Israelis they kill, but for every Palestinian who dies when Israel invades Gaza with full force because the blood is on Hamas hands!

Ur wrong, everybody see's it, and many people are talking. Of course the liberals and muslims are screaming loudest, and blaming it all on the Israeli's. I see it as something started by Hamas (palesinians). None of this would have happened if they wouldnt have kiddnapped the soldier. They did so knowing what Israel would do in response, so this was a calculated move. I blame Palestine.

Man those Palestinians are dumb as rocks. Most of the world had sympathy for awhile, now we know their only objective is terrorism. We as a world have tried repeatedly to give them their own country. The land they occupy was captured in war and is not theirs,it actually belongs to Egypt and Jordan, neither of which seem to want the land or the people that live on it.Israel pays for most of their "Government" and gets attacked daily. They have proved they are nothing more than a settlement of criminals and killers.

I see what is happening in "Palestine". The world is not shutting their eyes. But the whole world is sick of seeing "Palestinian" martyrs (often children) with bombs strapped to them blowing up bus loads of people in Israel.
You think the "Palestinians" aren't killing women and children? Israel just has the gonads to stand up and not let her people be slaughtered.

Don;t depend on them, depend on your own in depth prospective and investigate.
