Just like Arnold, did they use him to get votes from ignorant jingoistic Americans? There is no such thing as "reagan conservative".

Reagan's whole presidency was one staged show!
He even forgot his lines at times due to his age!

Let me tell you something you may not know. The greatest president off all time was Ronald Reagan. He was a democrab for a long time, but he changed to being a Republican without a gun being held to his head. He saw that the dims. were wrong about so much. Like that idiot Carter he replaced. Interest rates were 22% at the end of peanut mans term. Two weeks after Reagan was in it dropped to 6%. Then I could work and feed my family again.

Until now Reagan was the worst president in history. George Bush has set records for stupid moves and he is no actor, then again neither was Reagan. Have you ever seen any of his movies.

Again no point. You are a broken record. Why don't you clear the cob webs and ask a question that has some substance. Or better yet why don't you tell us how you could do better than Ronald Ragan (who stared the soviets down and did not blink) or George Bush or Arnold.

So, what's it like being blissfully ignorant and unafraid to let the world know it?

Reagan had been into politics for decades before becoming president. He wrote political papers, he gave political speeches and he even had a political radio show.

Talk about ignorant. Sheesh.

How old are you? Were you not around when reagan was in office?

He is one of the greatest presidents of all time. He ended the cold war, and his economic policies changed the country.

He brought the Russians to their knees. I was behind the Fulda gap ready to lauch WW3, a situation we were in since 1946. Clinton was a small town crooked backwater jerk that only thought of getting laid that the NEODEMS used. Takes a village indeed.

Arnold got elected because his predecessor, Davis (D), was such a disaster and he campaigned on change (which he has tried hard to do)

Incidentally, I didn't vote for him.

Well if an actor can bring down the berlin wall without fireing a shot, why aren't all our politicians actors? You really ought to read a few history books.

great point! they always use celebritys and atheletes to win elections. lyn swann is running for governor of penn. i hink they do this so voters will forget how the republican party is for the rich and crooked. also i find it funny how conservatives bash hollywood unless its a conservative celebrity, pure hypocricy.
