Can anyone help me understand why the people of Mass. continue to vote this man into the Senate. How can he continue to attack others? I don't know if he sobered up or not but he still acts a raving, self-righteous alcoholic. I'm absolutely amazed everytime he opens his mouth.

He's a sad example of the power of incumbents & the power of having the right name. Amazing what the kids of a "fu*king Rum Runner "- as Jimmy Hoffa put it - can do with enough money and no morals. They are a cursed family, and even though I dispise his and his family's politics ( JFK exempted) they get some sympathy. Maybe they need some time away from civic office, and more time in AA.............

Because Massachusettes is filled with ungodly drunks that coddle to criminals (Kennedy is one). There are some smart people up there, but common sense is totally lacking. They don't even think of the Kennedy legacy - drunks, women, murder, and greed - and it continues, Fatface's son got a DUI.
But, if the Massachusettes nutjobs love high taxes and criminals, it's their right to vote for a political imbecile. They vote a traitor in, so why not a drunk?

Why do Liberals do anything they do? Marion Barry was caught on tape with prostitutes and crack, arrested, and sentenced. But those crazy liberals put him right back in office. And Senator Robert Bryd, the former KKK, is one of the Democrats ranking members. Apparently they believe a leopard can really change spots?
Kennedy should have been charged with murder.

because ted kennedy cares about the working man. he and unions have worked to make a number of labor laws for employees. massachusetts is a state of educated people and that is why they elect ted and kerry and not the liar about the war bush. massuchusetts is a blue collar state and votes for politicians that care about the working man and not billion dollar corporations like your boy george.

Mostly because of who his father and brothers were, and because his level of tenure in the Senate entitles him to sit on (and play an important role in) a lot of important committees, etc.
