Why do they feel the need to expose every effort the Bush administration is doing to protect us? Why are they siding with the terrorist by uncovering the methods put in place to track and capture them? Do they really think that they are providing a service to Americans by telling the enemy what we are doing? Don't they realize that they are helping to turn everyone (except the terrorist) away from them and the democraps? They are fullfilling the term TRAITOR. Are they the modern day Benedict Arnold?

In Indiana you must have a photo ID to vote, not you should but a must have. Is this a good ideal for the rest of the nation? Before you go into the it will disenfranchise the poor, you need an ID to do almost anything else in this country from buying smokes, or beer to getting a job. Indiana also gave away free ID cards to people that claimed they could not afford to get one otherwise. I believe this will be precedent soon.

A Maniacal Messianic Prepares to Fulfill His Destiny
"I have fulfilled my destiny," the president says manically. He has just entered the nuclear launch codes that will trigger World War III. Seconds later, he emerges from a bunker. The Secretary of State squeezes between two soldiers. "Mr. President!" he shouts. "We have a diplomatic solution!"
He smiles. "It's too late," he replies. "The missiles are flying. Alleluia. Alleluia."
The above scene, from David Cronenberg's 1983 adaptation of the horror novel "The Dead Zone," is a classic if slightly preposterous nightmare of a world destroyed by a demented demagogue. Now, incredibly, a lunatic out of a Stephen King movie has brought the United States to the brink of Armageddon.

The more money we the U.S. waste in an unwinnable war the less resources we have to protect ourselves from another terrorist attack, just the way Al-Qaida would have it.How is it that the Republicans are too stupid to miss this point?

There's talk of a new procedure to help people like this, it's called a "libotomy". It's similar to a lobotomy except that doctors remove the diseased part of the brain that makes people become liberals. Also, the part removed is in the butt, which is where liberals have their brain tissue.

Will this procedure help someone as desperate as "Kookoo Bananas"?

US military casualties to date are approximately 20,000 killed, wounded, maimed, and disabled. Iraqi civilian casualties number in the tens of thousands. Iraq's infrastructure is in ruins. Tens of thousands of homes have been destroyed. Fallujah, a city of 300,000 people had 36,000 of its 50,000 homes destroyed by the US military. Half of the city's former population are displaced persons living in tents. Thousands of Iraqis have been detained in prisons and hundreds have been brutally tortured. America's reputation in the Muslim world is ruined. The Bush regime expected a short "cakewalk" war to be followed by the imposition of a puppet government and permanent US military bases. Instead, US military forces are confronted with Mujahideen that live on fire and has denied control over Iraq to the US military. Chaos rules, and civil war are what the Americans are palnnig.
What Iraqi security forces? Iraq does not have a security force.

This is a great article:

When speaking about crime and culpability (punishment is not an option), left-liberals like Jolie use the passive voice. Crimes are caused, not committed. Why, then, do Africans butcher, mutilate and rape their compatriots with clockwork predictability? Why do grown, Sierra Leonenean men hack off the arms of little Sierra Leonenean girls and rape them to shreds? Why is this repeated in Uganda, Sudan, the Congo, Rwanda, Somalia – you name them?

Jolie offers a tautology: It's "from the violence" – "they had their limbs cut off from the violence." Or if you find this redundancy meaningless, she whips another bunny from her hat: blame "drugs, perhaps."

Like Idi Amin, and the Prophet of Peace before him, Joseph Kony, leader of the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda, justifies his 20-plus years of senseless slaughter with reference to a vision from God. Like the Janjaweed militia of Sudan, this thug's victims are primarily Christians and other non-Muslims.

yestaerday, the whitehouse confirmed that the WMD found were out of date, and not the weapons they were looking for in 2003. Then, the conservative supreme court ruled against a Bush backed railroad company, that used illegal retaliation against a woman who filed a sexual harassment complaint. Later in the day, a handful of republicans derailed a scheduled vote on the voter rights act, that would renew it for 25 years (this is the act that prevents discrimination against black people's voting rights) Then, to top it all off, it was released that the government is receiving information from Chase bank on accounts from Americans inside the U.S. Then, they asked two newspapers to not release the story. You all had a busy day! Any plans for today?
