why, is there oil there?

The question then is: have they done anything for Sudan yet, I am w/ the one comment already made - is there oil other there, surely we will run to it then, but no, remember Sudan is an African country and Africa is the last place that America wants to go, we may toss a few dollars, but do you think we will send troops to assist in peace efforts, nope Bush-Cheney administration is all about the middle east.

It doesn't look like America is doing anything to even acknowledge the situation in the Sudan. Something needs to be done about it though. Protests and rallies help by making people aware but it isn't enough. I don't think the U.S. will get too involved though..I think they'll leave it up to the U.N.

What do you mean "take advantage of"? Sounds like you already have a biased view on things and you just want confirmation of your beliefs.
BTW, if the US does nothing we are evil. If the US does something we are evil. What exactly can we do without being attacked by America bashers?

They are ready have....see in their country they have alot of oil so they on pay about 0.40per gallon on gas. So George Bush decided to go over their and still the people oil acting like we are supposed to be helping these people. Which we are not we just stealing oil from him. The reason why he is doing this because he hook up with the oil company's in American which gave him alot of money for his campaign, so now he owns them a favor so he jacks the gas price up saying that we get most of our oil from New Orleans and that hurricane Katerine affect the gas price but that a lie it only affected the gas price in New Orleans not the hold country because we have more than one oil company we get oil from.
