there's too much of this liberal/conservative, right-wing/left-wing, democrat/republican BS that it has caused people to stop thinking about the main point, which is
PEOPLE'S RIGHTS.
as soon as that starts then everyone can be happy again. let's start by all becoming libertarians, shall we?

Who's optimism? Politicians are professional liars...They will say whatever it takes to get elected, get a long term & high paying job with the power to make what "they want" happen...Politicians are completely out of touch with the real world. And when faced with choices between what is right and best for everyone, or what will make them money or advance thier own agenda, the public is quickly forgotten...A better question is "Why won't the public in a democratic society take control of the government by "firing" those in office who don't do thier job as desired?" Congress, Senate & Whitehouse ALL need a wake up call, as do the public...Government was set-up to be corrupt with the initial wording of the "Preamble & Constintution"...It misleads those who don't understand the meaning of the terminology used at the time and was meant to...

Staying the course happen, Why would you want to keep running into a brick wall day in and day out, a normal person would say “ I think we are lost and we are running out of gas we need to come up with a new plan” that is what happen “ Staying the Course”.

It's a little difficult to be optimistic when your watching your constitution being trashed and your congress rolls over and wets on itself. And the press does nothing to bring the truth to the American people.

If you visit capital hill I think you will find the mood of our government workers and law makers to be very optimistic. The problem is that televsion and newspapers only cover the negative side of everything.

Demacrats are so upset they lost the election. Life was good for them under Clinton. Now they don't get there way so they cry like little girls. It will hurt them in the next election.
