It depends how long he's been in it. There is a chance...just keep telling him about the things going on and what can be done to help. That's the only way to get him back. Ask him why he's a neocon and then go from there. It might be as silly as some stance he has on taxes.

Carmine must be older than you. Don't worry about him. Eventually, you will grow up, too, and come to understand that the Liberal naivety of your youth was misplaced. Then you will thank him for showing you the way to enlightenment. That's what usually happens when the real world experiences shine the light on unrealistic idealism.

It is my general experience that neocons get that way from their sheltered fox news fed lifestyle... break him out of that for even just a weekend... surprise him with a trip to the ghetto... put some faces on those retarded beliefs... if he's remotely human, perhaps this can help

We are the Neocons. Lower your skepticism and power down your level of resistance. Your cultural and biological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Negotiation is irrelevant. Resistance is futile.

Sounds like he is the smartest member of your family. You should educate yourself by listening to the points he has.

Question for you - are you so brainwashed by liberal lies that you can't be reprogrammed?

Listen to him. You may learn something! He most likely has facts to back up his opinions, rather than just resorting to name calling.

Most people have predetermined where they stand politically, so, even if you try to "de-program" him he will not listen anyway.

The best you can do is let him make his own mind.
