Of course not. The NY Times leaked information about a classified CIA-Treasury operation to track down financial leads of known terrorists through foreign banks. The leak served no real purpose, and didn't even challenge the legality of the operation. They were even asked by the White House not to go through with it.

Look at all the media coverage we saw when the "Karl Rove / Valerie Plame" issue came to fruition. There was all this talk about putting our undercover agents at risk. Now you see the mainstream media trying to sweep this one under the rug. What about the morale of our intelligence operatives or the success of their program? Liberals should be just as outraged.

Kind of ironic most aren't, don't you think?

Will the coward who deserted his men while they were under fire finally consent to a full medical records review

-OR-

Is he too afraid they will clearly show the 3 superficial wounds (the magic number to be sent home) were obviously self inflicted like all of the physicians who treated him have stated?

And don't give me the crap "at least he went " because the TRUTH is he fought like a dog for over a year to avoid going. Once forced to go, the only reason he chose his assignment was because according to him,"he didn't think he would see action". Yeah that's the defintion of a liberal hero alright.

I don't see our loyal civil servant volunteering to investigate any of the various Bush Administration mishaps such as the NSA phone mining controversy, the Plame-Wilson CIA leak, the intelligence failures of both 9/11 and Iraq, or the recent controversy concerning the government's examination of hundreds of thousands of private banking records.....for the sake of brevity I have to stop here!

I have to think the oil in Iraq had more to do with the war than a terrorist threat. After all, all sensible, informed people know that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11...but we also know that Bush and all his oil industry buddies are getting rich now...

I have read many opinions from both sides of the Israel-palistinian conflict. It seems that many are just based on emotions and not on actual understanding of the conflict. Many see the palistineans as the underdog whos land was taken so they side with them. Others see the Israel's as the just nation since they don't attack without instigation and are a democratic country. Based on these initial emotions people form staunch opinions about who is right. If the average person spent even 1 hour doing actuall historical research using non-biased sources they would understand that the conflict is not that simple either way. Though truthfully through actual research of my own I have come to side with the Israels. This is because the actual historical facts seem to end up on the side of Israel. Mabye I'm wrong and mabye I'm right, thats not my point. What i am asking is why can't people just do some research before forming a political opinion. Is it really that difficult?
