For all who answer this and wonder, I am not racist against anyone or anything in the world. This was just a question of curiosity from what I've heard about racists against Iranians.

Actually the same amount who are racist toward others of Persian descent. The Iranians aren't a race but a nationality. You can be discriminatory against Iranians. But then you can be discriminatory against blonds or tomatoes. And you don't even have to hate them. You just choose to like other things more. When you choose to discriminate between black and white (the color, not the people), you are recognizing a difference and sepreating the two.
So the bottom line is whether you are neutral, prejudical for, or against Iranians has nothing to do with racism.

It is not a racist problem but because of the present conflict, people want to put a face on our enemies...thus the Iranians. In the Christian religion, we use the devil as the symbol of evil, but truth be known, most Americans could not identify an Iranian from a Berber or even a Pakastani...but those Iranians are the problem. It is a means to focus our hatred or fear against an identifiable name. If you met a person from Marrakesh in typical clothing...well he looks like an Iranian...an Egyptian, well they look like Iranians too...It is not the people but only the stupidity of creating stereo-types and then bigotry.

I don't know anyone who is racist against Iranians. I don't think a lot of people like the current government though. Especially the President of Iran who says the Holocaust never happened. Talk about racist...

Because the Iranians, in 1979, called the U.S.'s bluff and threw them out. The U.S. was backing a harsh totalitarian gov't. under the Shah so as to keep up the oil supply at a time when the rumor mill had it that oil was running low in the world. It would appear that the U.S. gov't. backs democracy when it suits them. The Iranians went from totalitarianism to a theocracy by choice which, supposedly was the lesser of two evils.

Child you have either no clue what a racist is or completly ignorant of history since 1979? Which it Is I do not know? Iranian is being treated quite fairly by the world at large.

The fear of the unknown leads to irrational behavior.
What news outlets have put out "racist" remarks towards Iranians? Can you be more specific?

You can't be Racist against Iranians.
You discriminate based on national origin (nationalist) with Iranians
You are Racist against Persians and Arabs (these are races Iranian is not a race).

It's not racist, it's geo-political and ethnically religious. most Iranians are in fact caucasions, though they are islamic by area. we have an axe to grind because the people always say that they are for peace and prosperity, and yet they allow themselves to become overun with terrorists who want nothing more than to start a war and destroy israel. When it comes to Iran we have been there done that and gotenn the same results... you cannot force a madman into peaceful negotiations.

The Iranian President says he wants to wipe Israel off the Map, simply because they are Jews.
Noone in the Muslim world even blinked an eye.
There is FAAAAR more racism against Jews than ANY OTHER nationality. I bet you also hate them simply because YOU ARE MUSLIM; RIGHT?

We're not racist against the people! We're against the leader and his supporting government. He wants to wipe Isreal off the map! But they are only enriching uranium for peaceful generation of energy (so they say).
