luckily you cannot catch this disease since its a mental illness....removing it is a bit trickier... since they actually believe they know whats best for the rest of the world and cannot accept the fact that most people disagree with them as evidenced by the last two elections... they enjoy making up what they consider catchy phrases such as fascist neo con Nazi etc, and spreading propaganda even if it endangers the country they live in...which they claim to love but act like they hate....so though you may not be able to cure them... their symptoms are so prominent, that it is easy to avoid them...

Usually, you catch this disease by seeing a little of the world, including people less fortunate than yourself. Side effects include an open mind and empathy for others. The best way to rid the U.S. of the disease is to become Nazi-like and eradicate anyone who doesn't think like you. Or to just be so darned priggish and arrogant that no one with any sense wants to live in the same country as you. I'd say you're on the right track!

It's an infection you get when you have your head up your *ss for decades. The only way to get rid of it is to start a military draft.
