israel entered Gaza again with a big army ,hiting bridges & electric stations ,causing black out ,water cut and causing a humanitirian crisis for milions of innocent civilians, to free 1 soldier!!!
if palestinian MILITANTS did kidnap a soldier in the israeli army,why israel is attaking the civ ?
cant israel send a special force to save the soldier,without destroying a whole city and kill & make innocent civ suffer?
why attack a city with no defences ,with a big army ,tanks & warplanes?
r the israeli that cowards,or is it just an excuse to reenter GAZA

The name of the soldier being held is Gilad Shalit. He needs people's prayers.

If Israel was smart they would completely destroy Gaza -- it's nothing but an Islamic terrorist stronghold used to launch attacks at Israel every day! The attacks from Gaza are so relentless that the Israeli town of Sderot (a city close to Gaza and easy target) is being deserted.

I know you're obviously just ranting, but I still want to comment.

With the Palestinian civilians having elected a terrorist group to power they have explicitly supported the militants. If the Hamas government was to actively work to rescue the soldier, then Israel would be in error to enter Gaza; Seeing that the Hamas government appears to be in agreement with the militants actions, Israel is left with no option but to attempt to rescue the soldier themselves. Furthermore, you ask if Israel must destroy a whole city to free one soldier; while you are overstating the damage considerably, Israel's responsibility is solely to their own soldier, not an enemy population. Whatever damage is done to the enemy's infrastructure is irrelevant in this matter. If they didn't want to be targets, they shouldn't support the terrorists.

It is a disgrace. Why persicute Palastinians because excessive force will only make them more intent on righting the injustice.
Isreal should retire to their excepted border and leave the Palastinieans to live in peace. The US should keep out. There will be no peace in the whole of the middle-east until isreal learns to live with the Palastinians and stops their over use of force. Only then will the Palastinians stop their bombings and attacks.

Israel has been under almost constant rocket attacks since they left Gaza. The kidnapping of Galil Shalit is just the catalyst. If El Paso was under constant bombardment from Mexico, don't you think the US would respond? Israel has the right to defend itself...despite what world opinion on the matter might be.
