Do democrats have a real platform or is it just bash the current administration?

They have been claiming to be ready to present a policy statement for over a year. The best they can do is present a policy of capitulation to the terrorists...which was soundly defeated in the Senate. They have announced no plan because they know that once Americans see how much it'll cost and how it will destroy this nation, they won't stand a chance on winning.

Their only recent platforms have been Bush-bashing. Any Democrat who tells you otherwise is lying or just hasn't been paying attention. If the Dems were to actually put together a real platform of real ideas for the people to examine and consider, they might have better luck in elections. Until then, their hope to do it by bashing the opposition just backfires, making them look petty and insubstantial.

Bashing is not required but oh sooo fun. Just think back to the endless Clinton,Gore, Kerry bashing....on the other side you'll get the picture. Clinton hasn't been in office in six years and he is still the obssession of the right.
