I'll vote for anyone who is willing to stand up for the constitution, find alternative fuel resources, is honest when addressing people, and actually cares for the American citizen!

Both parties suck these days. Democrats stand and have always stood for higher taxes and bigger government. Republicans have traditionally stood for smaller government, but they haven't followed through when given the opportunity. Having said that, I trust Republicans more with national security, the war on terror, and to not bow to the UN and the spineless, weak-willed nations of the world. So unless the Democrats come up with a candidate who blows me away, I will most likely be voting Republican in '08.

The last Republican I voted for was in 2000.
I will not vote for one again until they rid themselves of the radical religious right who have hijacked the party. I will not vote for a Christian theocracy. I like having taxes cut (when it's done responsibly and paired with appropriate spending cuts - not being spent on bridges to nowhere); I like small government. I don't like a government that wants to put hatred and discrimination into the Constitution. I don't like a government who runs wars unnecessarily and irresponsibly. I don't like a government who spends uncontrollably.
I grew up when they were always called "Tax and Spend Liberals". Sadly, I long for those days. Life was better with them in charge. Now, instead, we have "Cut all Taxes and Double All Spending" Republicans.
I'm a big fan of Richard Lugar - my Senator in Indiana. He will not be getting my vote for the first time, because I want to punish all Republicans for the horrible way this country has been run recently.

Libertarian candidate, if he or she had a shot, would be my first choice, but Republican. We end up with about the same results, but a moderate Republican willing to back the Fairtax and stop the spending hemorage would definitely get my vote.

After all this anti Bush anti American stuff and conservative slamming rhetoric from the crazy acting left wingers my choice is clear. Republican. They also have a plan where the democrats only plan is critical remarks about the administration which is no plan at all.
