at first I was thinking of Jimmy Carter, now THERE is a President we can all be PROUD of. Those that worship him DON"T remember the LOOOONNNNNGGGGG lines at the gas pump and the "misery index" But, I know it is Clinton. Yup, the HIGHEST tax increase by any president EVER! But that's why the LEFT loves him sooo much! The libbies LOVE taxpayers, that's how they get THEIR checks!

Between 1992 and 2000 the poverty rate dropped from 15.1% to 11.3%.
The poverty rate has increased annually since then to 12.7%. The poverty rate for children has increased to 17.8% since Bush took office.
Spending on programs was cut because fewer people needed assistance.
