If Bush was SO SURE this war was necessary, why didn't he reinstate the draft, instead of hiring mercenaries at an extremely lucrative contract? Blackwater has made lots of money and lots of mistakes...they are acting like hired hit men! Seems that Bush continues to make decisions that keep lowering the respect of the US by other countries. His legacy gets worse by the day!

Pre-Rooseveltian Anti-Trust Legislation many of the larger companies had private "enforcers" Pinkerton arose from that very origin. Government asserted its power to regulate business and business has been trying to regain the upper hand ever since. Raygun was the first real proponent of "privatization" but the bushies are going all the way to corporate Fascism. Does no one remember that Nazism would have been just another bunch of street thugs without the support of the upper class industrialists Foreign(Ford et al) and Domestic(IG Farben, VW, Krupp et al)

Elizabeth Edwards is an intelligent woman who would like to help get her husband nominated. What is wrong with that? Did they mistake her for a wimpy, weak woman? She's taking a lot of hits from conservatives!

Isn't it treason to call the President a criminal during war time?

The following quote comes from the novel "Paris to the Moon" by American writer Adam Gopnik. Do you agree or disagree? Why? "You don't need to believe in anything much to be an extremely effective president. All you need is to know your audience's insecurities and how to keep swaying in time to them forever."

"If we took away the woman's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another democratic president again." (Sounds chauvinistic...maybe she's not straight? No wonder she's never been able to attract a man).

"Democrats should hang their heads in shame because they can't get men to vote for them." (Ignores the fact that republicans can't get many minorities, and not often as many women, to vote for them).

"Canada is lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent." (Is she trying to make Canada, our good neighbor, hate us?)

Calling all Arabs and Muslims (even in our country) "ragheads". (Racist...)

She is out of control! Personally, I would distance myself from her, and fast, if she was a member of my party. There are intelligent conservatives who have condemned her statements on different occasions. But why aren't all conservatives doing the same?

they let it touch the ground, get wet, get torn, wear it on hats and shirts place graffiti over it, use it for merchandising purposes, do not dispose of it properly, raise it properly, lower it properly, leave it flying over night without being lit. All in the name of patriotism they have desecrated the flag more than those middle eastern protestors that are seen burning it.

"The War on Christmas: How the Liberal Plot to Ban the Sacred Christian Holiday Is Worse Than You Thought."

The fact that atheists view Christmas with disdain is not astonishing, since they've attempted to remove the phrase "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance and "In God we trust" from U.S. currency, as well as Ten Commandments displays from numerous publicly owned places. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=29995

Liberals continue to proclaim that there is "no war on Christmas" in our nation.

CBS proved to be the perfect reminder of how the so-called mainstream media have determined that it is perfectly appropriate to offend millions of Christians during this holy season. http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53396

- Aside from the unjustified taser incidents there seems to be something else brewing
-"Peaceful onlookers were arrested by police for reading the Constitution while a pro-war group was allowed full freedom of speech in Washington DC.Police are required to swear an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution but this didn't stop them from kidnapping members of the Code Pink group, who gathered on a nearby sidewalk to calmly express their disagreement with a Neo-Con pro-war event taking place nearby by reading the bill of rights. Five members of Code Pink were arrested, one for reading the Constitution, as police refused to say what the charges were and refused to answer any questions while demonstrators were hauled into paddy wagons.
-In Britain,a woman was questioned by police and entered into the anti-terror database for reading a mainstream newspaper that had an anti-war headline. In 05, a woman was arrested & convicted for reading out names of British soldiers killed in Iraq"

"The Constitution of the United States gives no authority to the Congress of the United States to set lengths of tour or lengths of duty in the military......."
Senator John McCain

The Congress shall have power: "To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces."
Article 1 section 8 of the United States Constitution

How can anyone support a Presidential candidate that has proven one of two things:
1) He is a liar.
2) He has never bothered to read the United States Constitution that he has sworn to uphold and defend.
