Before the war, we easily could have bought the oil in the open market. And that would be a fraction of the cost that we have incurred with the war. Please try to explain why in the world do you believe that, or is that just an empty battle cry of the left?

She is the one stirring up such an uproar about Desperate Housewives' last episode....a character referred to Phillipino doctors in a desparaging way....the network has already apologized, but this "Senator" seems to want blood....read a few things about her on the net....sounds like one who likes to make mountains out of molehills. She made a comment that the show had "desicated" the "world-class Phillipino doctors". She, by the way, has a sister in the USA who is a doctor....guess that is the reason why she took this so personally, and is trying to create a ridiculous uproar over a comment that was written into the script as just a joke....I am sure it was not anything the staff at ABC ever even considered would be blown so out of proportion, in the way this "Senator" is attempting to do! She needs to lighten up....sheeeeeesh! The show is a comedy, Senator, in case you hadn't noticed!

As the currency of the world’s largest and most powerful economy, the dollar rises and falls based on the strength of that economy — and the confidence investors have in its future. With other economies in Europe and Asia growing more rapidly and the outlook for the U.S economy slowing, the dollar has been weakening.
>It seems to me that the policies of this current government is so far reaching that now the lowering dollar is threatening our nation. Food and energy is rising along with health care and jobs are disappearing. Is recession or even a depression looming?

He also said that he would fire the leaker...he didn't....he pardoned him.

Aren't you tired of being lied to ?

Does Bush really expect anyone to believe a word that he says anymore ?

We know lefties looooooooooooves phoney soliders! They also looooooooooves propaganda. though i'm not a fan of hush bimbo, his recent spat with the lefties over his comments 'phoney soldiers', is proof of how much the left loves these guys! they'll go to the extent of issuing a senate censure!
why do lefties love phoney soldiers but hate the military?
As Ann Coulter points out in her infinite brilliance " If we are to believe the self-descriptions of callers to talk radio and the typical soldier interviewed on MSNBC, the military is fairly bristling with Moveon.org types.According to a Military Times survey taken in September 2004, active-duty military personnel preferred President Bush to Kerry by about 73 percent to 18 percent. Sixty percent describe themselves as Republican and less than 10 percent call themselves Democrat (the same 10 percent that MSNBC has on its speed-dial). Even among the veterans, Republicans outnumber Democrats 46 percent to 22 percent."

Here are some facts forwarded to me by email by some colleagues:

"I heard through the grapevine about a remark made on an episode of
> "Desperate Housewives" last night. The scene entailed Teri Hatcher's
> character (Susan) at a hospital, being told by her gynecologist
> that she might be hitting menopause. Susan replied, "Can I just
> check those diplomas because I just want to make sure that they are
> not from some med school in the Philippines." If you go to abc.com,
> you can watch the full episode and witness the scene at about 18:50
> minutes into the episode."

"Accdg to one Filipino client of ours, Teri Hatcher actually asked for non-Filipino nurses/doctors when she was in a CA hospital. The hospital admin told her she has to look for another hospital, since everyone who had anything to do with patients was Filipino. Apparently this line is HER OWN AD LIB, based on her REAL-LFE FRUSTRATION that she not be touched or cared for by Filipinos... "

The U.S. is risking its security by allowing a Chinese company to purchase the telecommunications pioneer 3Com, which develops defense-network computer technology for the Pentagon, a congressman told WND.

"We're dropping a shark in a fish bowl if we allow a communist Chinese company to buy 3Com," said Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, R-Mich., chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee.

"Given China's persistent attacks on Pentagon computers, we have got to quit hoping for the best and realize that communist China is our enemy." said McCotter, who warned colleagues in Congress about the deal in a letter this week.

After hearing the dispicable comments by Rush Limbaugh, regarding our nations heros,
I, _________________________________________________
am urging Congress to take action against such maliciousness,
that would need to be reaaranged before allowing our soldiers to hear such programming

This type of calisness only proves to demoralize our troops in theatre, and can never be tolerated.
Especially in the absence of an apology or a retraction

We are very proud of every soldier deployed, and to allow such comments to continue
would be a travesty to every soldiers moral who is kept in harms way.

Since Clarence Thomas is in the news, this question seems timely.

Hill accused Thomas of making inappropriate statements. Clinton was accused of unwanted groping, exposing himself, and even rape.

So, did Hill make any public statements about the Clinton allegations? What did she say?

Thanks.
