Democrats are power hungry so they tell the weak and poor that they will help them then when they get the power they want they raise taxes. This of course hurts the poor by acting to rigidify the class separations so they can create a permanent poor class that will always fall for the rope-a-dope scheme. I believe too much in our essential liberties to ever vote for a liberal.

I was a loyal and proud Republican most my life (and I am an old man) but started becoming disenchanted with the GOP even before ol' King George became Kin....I mean President.
Right now I am literally a man without a party. I am ashamed to say I was once a Republican Party member who actively campaigned for its candidates. But I would NEVER stoop to cal myself a Democrat.
So I don't know who or what party I will vote for next year. The more I hear from the many candidates of both parties, the safer Hillary is sounding. But I would really prefer Rudy or Huckabee from the GOP.
Or maybe I will just stay home.
Whoever gets elected will raise taxes. Even a Republican. Just wait and see......

It's inevitable that taxes are going to be raised, whether it's a Democrat or Republican that gets elected.
Bush has created such a huge deficit, that they will have to raise taxes there's no other way around it.
Oh, and I plan on voting Democrat, no doubt about it.

I can safely guarantee that the democrats would indeed raise taxes on us if they gain the white house.
And no, I am not voting for a democrat come this next Presidential election.

I am not wealthy so my taxes aren't likely to be raised. If so it is like Ben Franklin said. There are only two things sure in life, death and taxes. I will vote Democratic. There is more at stake than a few extra bucks.

Yes, I believe that they will raise our taxes. I have heard them discussing most recently government provided health care and savings bonds for newborns, neither of which can come about without funding.

I believe taxes will be raised when Obama is in the White House, rich-republican-persons taxes, not mine.
I will vote Dem. but not for a thinly veiled republican by the name of Hilary.

I can't say who I am going to vote for. The primaries haven't even been held! I am a Populist, so I tend to be a little left of center but I think MY taxes will go down and the rich people's taxes will go back up so they are more proportionate.
That is just my two cents.

Of course they'll raise taxes. That's a well-known fact. I do not plan on ever voting for a Democrat.
