Where did you here they are going to place cameras in our home toilet? That's crazy...that will never happen. I live in the south and if that ever happened all these red-necks would just go out in their back woods to do their business.

Yes the future prospects of the world is bleak ,And not only in the USA but every where.
Today you can see governments all over the world taking more and more rights off the people and 1 world government is coming and then total Governmental Control an the people become slaves again to the system. With no rights or personal choice etc
I think you will see age limits on peoples life's and then humanely executed as they are a burden on the government.
There were a few old sci fi movies around in 1960-1990 that showed this type of world domination ,and much of what was it these movies is happening today.

I can see it coming. I was joking with a friend about 2 years ago about what would happen if we didn't all watch out and GUESS WHAT? It is now happening.
I think the governments have used something called the 'Foot in the Door' techniques and done thing s abit at a time so we have got used to it.

No, its not. The thing that you are missing here is that it cuts *both* ways. Cops use cameras to catch felons. Now average citizens use cameras to catch cops. The cameras aren't only for the government to use to watch YOU, they can be used by YOU to watch the GOVERNMENT. The cameras are in your hands as well so you can check and confront abuses. I used to think it was a bad idea, but after becoming aware of how cops and officials behave when they think no one is watching, I now have to say I think it is a good thing.

I hope not in my lifetime, but consider the Golden Rule: "He who has the gold, makes the rules." In your question, if the government succeeds in nationalizing health care, I could foresee probably not exactly what you suggest, but a requirement that in order to continue to qualify for your health care, you MUST follow certain rules/regs/policies, which could include proper diet (as set forth by the powers that be), no smoking, no potentially hazardous sports (scuba diving, skydiving, skateboarding, skiing, swimming...), etc. could easily be added.

I think people are still not going to care if such stuff like this happens. They're gonna eat what they want and when they want it regardless if they develope some sort of sickness. Isn't that how it is right now?

Not an analogy I would choose if I wish to influence people, but you are not far off. There are certainly self-anointed 'lifestyle police' that seem to be empowered with the ability to dictate what we should and should not be enjoying.

maybe
but only if
Republicans get involved in a national health Care Program
they seem to like to tell people how to live their lives, ( see above posters comments) can't we just keep them on vacation until its done
i really think we should make all congressmen and Gov employees take same program they give us, tha way we know they will at least read what they pass

Are there any camera that you can place in toilet in order to find out if you have cancer there?I think cancer is developing in your own brain.

Well of course unless we stop it. Look at ONSTAR in GM vehicles. They will be able to see when you are speeding and have the ability to turn off your car and arrest you. Its already here.
