The social democrat is an adjective describing such a position by one espousing democratic ides.

Social conservative is the extreme of what is liberal and this is someone who champions what is natural law.

Socially moderate individuals are those who are regarded as those who are not too outspoken, and those who do not believe that drastic changes are needed to improve our society.

That's what it means - moderation.
