Well, she makes good fodder for late-night comedians - that's a good quality!
And, she turns a blind eye to her horn-dog hubby's escapades, which I'm sure is a good quality from Bill's perspective!

1) She's a grown-up person
2) She has a brilliant intellect, writing and speaking better than any of the other candidates on either side.
3) She's a professional who doesn't allow personal feelings to get in the way of doing the right thing.
4) She has a sense of humor.
5) She has no intention of forcing her religious convictions on anyone else, and disapproves of anyone else in government doing the same.
6) She's been a good senator for her New York constituents, who love her.
7) She cares a lot about people who are less fortunate than herself.
8) She's a tough negotiator, perfectly capable of commanding the military. Women in the military like her.
9) She's not easily swayed by emotional appeals, but she'll listen and change her course if new information arises or conditions change.
10) She is poised and not easily rattled by sudden events: she keeps her head when others around her are losing theirs.
11) She has a deep sense of duty that government officials must serve their people, and that government can do a lot of good if it's run properly.
12) She can work well with both Republicans, Democrats and even people terming themselves 'committed Christians.'
As for your comments, you won't find any non-ambitious people running for president. And since she has a rather good chance of winning the presidency, she has to be careful of what she says during the campaign. The Republicans can say anything they want, because they won't be elected and thus won't have to deal with the consequences of what they say during the election.

2n2222 you couldn't have said it any better. I am with you on this one.
I am also sick to death of the Republicans constantly bringing up a sex scandal to bring down the Clintons and the Democratic party in general. It was a freaking BJ, that was set up by Ken Starr and Linda Tripp, who used Monica Lewinski as the pawn, because they were desperate to find some way to discredit him, since everything else they tried backfired big time. You can not tell me that George Bush would not have lied under the same circumstances, any man would have lied and you know it. SO GET OVER IT FOR GOD'S SAKE. You act like Bill Clinton was the worst president ever because he got a BJ from an Intern, and lied about it. (I wonder how many other presidents did the same, and just didn't get caught). Yet, he accomplished a hell of a lot in the 8 years he was in office despite being constantly hounded by...as Hillary put it..."A massive right wing conspiracy to discredit her husband." He balanced the budget, and George Bush has thrown us in deeper than any other president in history.
I think Hillary would make an excellent president, because she has been there as first lady, has served her constituants in New York well, Knows exactly what she is doing, and has the balls to stand up for what she thinks is right, unlike so many men out there with no balls at all.
You ask if Hillary is capable of answering a straight forward simple question? Yes, she has done it many times. And she can actually pronounce her words correctly unlike our current president, and speaks in an articulate intelligent manor, unlike Bush, who can't give a speach without a speach writer.
You, my friend, have allowed yourself to be blinded by the right wing propaganda machine. Time to open your eyes and ears, and see, that the Republican party is so corrupt right now, they should be running in shame with their tails between their legs. It really is pathetic that so many are so narrow minded, they can't see the truth when it slaps them in the face.

Actually I like her as a Senator. There she can talk all she wants along with the rest of them. Talk to the nation as a Senior Senator (she is a junior one now) then run for President. Yet, she is a Clinton. Such animals are often alike and you can never prove to me she is a separate entity from Bubba. You get the whole can of worms if electing these two is your bag. Do we really want this again? If you research these folks they are the smartest slippery est and not even laws stop them.
Yes but the NO is so overwhelming I can't disagree.

She learned from two masters: Nixon and her husband. She's a good lawyer and knows how to play to her constituency, unlike present Republicans.
