Once a drug addict always a drug addict. If he's not using now (which I think he is) he will be soon. The oxycontin removed any bothersome logic or fairness function in his brain completely.
PS: Yes, he did say that. It's well documented.

As part of his agreement with the police, Rush gets a drug test every few months. Interestingly, shortly after Harkin made the stupid comment about Rush still being high last week, he had one of his mandatory drug tests... Sorry, but it was negative...and has been since he went into rehab. This was confirmed by a new group trying to find some dirt against Rush.

If you beleive what NA typically says "once and addict - always an addict" But a person can be an addict in recovery. I doubt Rush is still abusing his prescription drugs. I do think it is fair to distiguish between a person who decides to break the law by using illegal drugs, then gets addicted vs a person who gets a back injury & gets addicted to the prescription drugs.

yes... he is. Once an addict, you're always an addict. But he's known as a "Recovering Addict.

No.. I don't believe he said that... but I could be wrong.

No... it's not OK to be addicted to prescription drugs.

You seem addicted to Liberal distortions and react strongly to having Liberal lies revealed.

Seek help.

Warm regards

He has recovered and he isn't the first person in public life to be addicted to pain killers for a Back injury. JFK had a similar problem.

I don't believe he said that and he went to treatment when it became public and has remained clean since. Also, if you don't like the guy because of his political views, argue those, not his personal problems. How about we come over to your housse and publicise the problems in your family? Do you drink too much? Cheat on your wife? How are your kids? See, has nothing to do w/ politics, it is a childish, cheap shot.

He's recovered, but I'd like to know a bit more about how Patrick Kennedy's doing. Have you libs bailed him out of rehab yet?
