Unlikely, what you have to consider is Paxman runs the show when he is on T.V. As prime Minister, he would have to keep his team happy at the ballot box.

So passing laws amendments, bills, and white papers would become tough if he couldn't keep his ministers onside.

I think that he is too heavy handed, and that could cause revolt within the party.

However, I think that he would make a great Hatchet man. Something like The Boy Norman who stood in the shadows next to Maggie Thatcher.

No. To be a PM one has to be able to answer questions not just ask them and also be elected as the leader of a political Party . So he fails on both counts and is not the man for the job.

I believe he would, if he was allowed to maintain his tough attitude and not be beaten by PC nut-jobs. Pardon my crudity, but this country needs a PM with danglies, even if it's a woman! (But not a Maggie).

I think he loves the country enough to want to do the best for it - the lot we've got only seem to love themselves and their bank balances.
