Fox news, is by far the most un balanced new source in America. The network is ran by Rupert murdoch who has large ties to the GOP. The only people who consider it "fair and balanced" are other cons. The general media is ran by conservitve corperations like clear channel and not are necessarily liberaly biased. Neocons can not take people not agreeing with them so make up conspiracy theories of how the media is out to get them. Also to prove my point you are going to notice all the cons thumb this down but they know I am right.

A couple of months ago, some left-wing bloggers convinced the Democratic presidential candidates would be a bad idea to hold a debate on Fox.

However, the Republicans held debates on MSNBC and Fox. Despite being portrayed as Republican toadies, Fox's moderators did a much better job, asked the tough questions, and insisted on answers. Watch the video highlights (linked under "sources" below) to see what I mean.

No wonder Democrats are afraid of Fox...if these "right wingers" hold other rightwingers to such high standards, how much worse would a Democrat fare, having to answer all those tough questions.

The candidates won't appear on FOX (tho Hillary did!?) because FOX will ask them serious questions about what they are planning to do if they get elected, and, since FOX is the most watched news network, they don't want to expose their lack of substance to such a large number of potentially undecided voters. On other networks they can dither and pander to their base who are the only people who watch those channels anyway.

It's the fact that FOX IS fair and balanced that keeps democrats away from the network. The left (democrats) is used to media types who are on their side. No tough or potentially embarassing questions, no bringing up past foolish statements or examples of flip-flopping. Just soft, supportive face time.
But dems get on FOX and face actual questions. They are confronted with the lies they've told, the hypocrisy of conflicting answers or the non-answers they given time and again. They don't like these "real" interviews by "real" newspeople. That's the "bias" of FOX. It isn't pro left!

They should appear on Fox News in my opinion. It makes the dems look weak to opposing points of view, when they should instead stand up and confront them. How anyone can call Fox fair and balanced, though, just blows my mind. Are you people blind or do you just want so badly to believe that it's true?

You have Tucker and Scarborough on MSNBC (probably the most liberal news channel), Glenn Beck on CNN, and on Fox... hmm, you have Colmes sharing a show with one of the most conservative people out there. That's right... no liberal hosts on Fox. At least the other networks split the airwaves.

Fox is far from fair and balanced, and that wouldn't be bad if they would just come out and admit that, yes, they are basically a mouthpiece for the conservatives, the administration, and the republican party. Who was the last White House spokesman again? And what network did he come from? Hmm...

Some of the liberal news shows make no qualms about being liberal, and you have to at least respect that.

No. The rest of the media is so tilted to the left it is fortunate that we have FOX news to present the other side of the story. The Democrats will not appear on that show because they cannot handle the challenge and are afraid of the tough questions. they would rather stick to the softballs that they get from the likes of Chris Matthews,

No, they are the furthest from bias.

FOR YEARS the mainstream media including CNN - Clinton News Network were the only stations ... and they are horribly biased in favor of the libs. Now that we have Fox News, the libs are all in a stir.... and I think it is hilarious!

No, Fox News is the only news station that makes any attempt to not blatantly support the liberals. However, I would not call them fair and balanced. ABC, CBS and NBC are far left. Fox is only center left. Unfortunately there is not unbiased news source, nor is their one that leans right.

Democrats refuse to take hard questions. Fox is the most watched news on cable. They beat MSNBC, CNN, and CNBC combined in most of their time slots.

The democrats want to pander to the communist left that hate America. Those do not watch Fox.
