yet, they fail to mention the fact that the most infamous conflict the U.S. was ever involved in-Vietnam-was initiated by John F. Kennedy and perpetuated by Lyndon Johnson, who both happened to be Democrats? Isn't it funny how liberals try to claim Gerald Ford lost the Vietnam conflict, but it was the Democrat controlled congress that ultimately cut the funding for the war, forcing us to pull out?

Oh, and please spare me the rhetoric about the Monroe Doctrine and fighting communists versus terrorists.

Isn't it also funny how the liberals keep bringing up the loss of 3000 troops when by this timeframe in Vietnam, the number of deaths was considerably higher?

Bush: Congress must limit pork spending
AP - 12 minutes ago
WASHINGTON - President Bush said Wednesday he'll submit a proposal to balance the budget in five years and exhorted Congress to "end the dead of night process" of quietly tucking expensive pet projects into spending bills. "This budget will restrain spending while setting priorities," Bush in a statement he delivered in the Rose Garden after meeting with his Cabinet at the White House."

Now, what kind of BUDGET REDUCING IDEAS would you like to submit? Think of stuff that costs us...oh I dunno...something like a Billion US Taxpayer dollars a day for instance for starters.

I live in New Jersey. But, Democrats refuse to allow me to buy a health insurance plan based in Pennsylvania, where insurance is cheaper.

Why do Democrats make life so hard on American families? They refuse to support the idea of letting those of us without insurance buy plans based in other states. Don't Democrats care about us?

Clinton and the Democrats refused to give free healthcare to all Americans. They controlled the White House, Senate, and House during Clinton's first 2 years.

Yet they did NOT pass such a bill.

Amazingly, under Bush, Democrats have been squawking about not having universal healthcare.

Shouldn't Democrats castricize Clinton and their own party for this failure? No one forced them NOT to pass the bill. It was their own choice.

I know--they don't want to give up their homeland, right? But wouldn't it be simpler to just move to Lebanon, Jordan, or Egypt and get it over with? Why would that be so bad? That's where their refugee relatives are, anyway. Maybe they could just become citizens of those countries. BTW, I am NOT pro Israel just by asking this question--I am sincerely curious.

Clinton signed NAFTA and gave Permanent MFN to China. That sent all of our jobs overseas.

Then Clinton tripled illegal immigration. That drove wages through the floor.

Then Clinton signed welfare reform to put lazy Democrats back to work.

Wow. You would have sworn Clinton was a Republican. Oddly, Dems view him as a hero even though he screwed them by going against the working man.

If big business supports and lobbies for a soft policy on Illegal immigration, then the democrats, who hate big business, will have more votes. Is that really in the best interest of big business in the long run? Or us--that's our 401Ks we're talking about?

With this simple logics, it is us who should back them because they helped us during the Independence war. Also, the US went to war only when the Russians started to defeat the Nazis (to avoid that they contol Europe) and because Japanese attacked us. We did not care during the 3 first years of the war!

French were right not to back us in Iraq. Had more country done so, we wouldn't have been there!
They were also right about the fact there were no WMD in Iraq. We were wrong and misled all the way by Bush's gang.

The contemporary international arena reflect an unbalanced and not realistically justified global system where similar crime commited by different nations is not punished justifiably with the dictates of international law. There seems to be different international laws guiding the dealings of the militarily strong and economically powerful countries in relation to the weak and developing nations in the world of today.

Linda Brown was the 3rd grade girl that the Supreme Court enabled to attend a white school in 1951.

Today, Ms. Brown's sister wants the same Topeka Kansas school system to allow charter schools as a way of getting rid of the lousy education that black kids get in public schools today.

But, the teachers unions could care less about the black kids. The Democrat Teachers Union is AGAINST MS. BROWN AND THE POOR BLACK KIDS.

Sadly, Ted Kennedy is the #1 fan of teachers unions.

Those who covet power and authority with said prizes?

We have a cute word for it here in the states, "Campaigning."
You hear all the politicians saying, humbly of course, to the camera that no one really wants that job? Really? Then why do you campaign for years and millions of dollars?

In response to some private emails, no I am not anti-government at all. But how long before we go the way of the Roman Empire?
