Our system of relying on individual congressmen or senators (or the president) to offer a bill for a vote puts only one option up for consideration, and often not the best one possible. If all the options were offered, we'd have a better chance to find the best solution.

My boyfriend of 7 years wants me to move in with him in June after a two-month recovery period after leg surgery. He's my landlord, and I've been living in one of the houses he owns. I've been living there about two years and absolutely love it there. Every weekend, I live with him in his house which I also love. I can't make up my mind if I want to keep things the way they have been or if I should move in with him which I would also love. But, then I would permanently lose my house to a new tennant. What should I do? I would be very happy with either arrangement, but I can't have both.

Is the reason why Democrats have only won three Presidential contests in nearly 40 years because they pander to unpopular causes like the fraudulent Duke "rape" case? Will Nifong be disbarred? Will the African-American community offer an apology to the nation?

I just answered a question with regards to whether or not President Bush should be tried for war crimes. What has divided us these past 16 years? Why are we as Americans affraid to be American in any way, giving free expression of political views equal respect while holding on to our own personal views? Please help me understand.

Since virtually every war the United States has been in in the last 100 years has been at the behest of a Democrat i.e. WWI (Woodrow Wilson), WWII (FDR and Drop a Nuke Truman), Korean (Truman) and Vietnam (Kennedy/Johnson) and since each of those wars has cost us many more that the 3,000 dead in Iraq shouldn't you be supporting a Republican if you are truely for peace ?

How many living Republicans are dead against it, but are waiting until they are dead to come out? What's the chances of politicians from either party going with their gut instead of strictly adhering to the party line?

I am a republican who is proud that our president and his cohorts have ruined America's reputation world-wide and got us into two failed wars.
I don't care that America's self-esteem is hurt tremendously since we couldn't win our wars or accomplish the very farfetched goals our government had.
I just don't give a crap that Mr. Bush sent so far 3,000 American lives into a lost cause.
I don't care that he, and our vice-president, continue to make profits from Halliburton.
I don't mind that the Iraqi people complain about us and fear for their lives on a daily basis.
I think it is all right that our government puts so much effort into failed offensive strategies and nothing into defensive strategies.
After all, I am a republican.
So, how do you feel?
