I am a republican who is proud that our president and his cohorts have ruined America's reputation world-wide and got us into two failed wars.
I don't care that America's self-esteem is hurt tremendously since we couldn't win our wars or accomplish the very farfetched goals our government had.
I just don't give a crap that Mr. Bush sent so far 3,000 American lives into a lost cause.
I don't care that he, and our vice-president, continue to make profits from Halliburton.
I don't mind that the Iraqi people complain about us and fear for their lives on a daily basis.
I think it is all right that our government puts so much effort into failed offensive strategies and nothing into defensive strategies.
After all, I am a republican.
So, how do you feel?

Problem is, he still convinced he's doing the right thing, and history will bear this out. I'm hoping the civilized world can survive long enough to be able to reflect on this

This is question is bait for something else. I am a republican, voted for Bush twice. I have many disagreements with this president. He spends too much on domestic issues, education programs, and has been unable to "fix" social security. By fix what I mean is that I want to have the ability to opt out of the system completly and entirely. As for the War on Terror and the current police action in Iraq I do happen to support both. These wars today will shape the way the world will be in the next 50-100 years.

I too, am a Republican, and while I have no love for the Bush administration, I think it's too early to say we lost two hugely important wars. Iraq is not hugely important, it's a waste of time. Afghanistan was meaningful, until they gave up and focused on Iraq. Neither war is over though, and I don't think we can lose, we can only give up.

I also disagree that our reputation worldwide is ruined, not everyone hates Americans because of W. And if they do, then they are as dumb as W is. Many foreign nations sympathize with American people, who have little control over the actions of their president.

OK Karl Marx, quit posing as a Republican. Get back under your dumbocrat rock and rejoin the other two listeners of Air America.
You arent fooling anyone. Oh yeah, better start taking your medications again.
I think the guys in the white coats are knocking at your door again.

The only chance we have of losing the war in Iraq, is if the leftist Democrats are able to convince the administration to give up. As much as the left wants us to lose, it's going to take a lot of work on their part to actually make it happen.

I am proud that I loath this miserable little man and the shame he has brought to the Office of the President and the United States. Never before has a President been so hated and unpopular, both in this country and around the world.

Wow....you really said it! I believe that the travesty that is occurring due to our greed and self-righteousness has brought alot of shame to the american people and our society. Too bad that an overall judgment lumps us into the category as barbaric as the terrorists we set out to "rid the world of"!!

"hugely-important wars" !!!!!!

Who would ever call such confllicts "war" for starters?

A "WAR" is between 2 sides - each distincitve by the wearing of differing UNIFORMS so you can tell who your enemy is ! At least that is what I was taught in school !

I take it Periwinkle is not an American..?
