Oh this is your best one by far!
Pointing out domestic violence in this country as a root cause of American aggressiveness.
According to Islamic law, a husband may strike his wife for any one of the following four reasons:
- She does not attempt to make herself beautiful for him (ie. "let's herself go")
- She refuses to meet his sexual demands
- She leaves the house without his permission or a "legitimate reason"
- She neglects her religious duties
So it's all Crystal clear now, since domestic violence is perfectly acceptable within your culture.... That explains Beheading.... Torture..... Rape.... Blowing up Innocent women and children.... And just the general elimination of infidel's
Thanks for the insight.

Domestic violence is prevalant in all societies, irrational thought is a better explaination for violence exerted on anyone who is different. So, NO I don't believe it has anything to do with it. I know quite a few Muslims and they would most likely laugh at such a question, just as I and most everyone else here already are.

The aggressiveness you speak of is simply a offshoot of what we call American Pride. If someone attacks us they're villified, period. Another very obvious fact is the Chrisianity and other variations on the god theme (which are clearly the enemy of chatty Muslims, usually the "bad guys" like Osama and whatnot) are rights to be defended and deeply rooted in out culture.
I think one of the biggest reasons there's so much aggressiveness is because Muslims don't seem to care if they live or die, blow themselves up just to make a point, so far a futile point being they still live in the dark ages. Extremists will eventually move ahead technologically, like Iran is attempting to do, and this is when logic dictates taken extreme measures. When we cross that bridge extremists will truly understand what American aggressiveness is.

HA! That's super...considering the crimes against women in other countries and cultures. They can deny them basic rights like FREEDOM, education, personal choices...there can exist injustice to the extent of RAPE camps, clitoral castration, child trafficking for a sex trade...BUT because we defend our country and our safety, and have experienced a natural paranoia/sensitivity that stems from FEAR and some ignorance (not ignorant in the common use, but a lack of understanding about who is the enemy and who isn't) AMERICANS are aggressive and have a prevalence of domestic violence??
Which, by the way, is only an issue because its AGAINST THE LAW and our justice system provides a victim with a voice and an advocatory process to defend themselves. In other places where violence against women isn't against the law....their documented incidents of domestic violence are much, much lower.
Silly.

in Saudi Arabia, bombing of the US Marine Barracks in Lebanon, The USS Cole bombing in Yemen, the attacks
and bombings of the WTC towers in New York, Plane

No, as we didn't fly any airplanes into your largest buildings!
If Our country wanted to go after Muslims we would not be in Baghdad, we would be in Saudi Arabia where the terrorists came from!
What explains our aggressiveness (Only 1 or 2 %) is our penchant to steal your natural resources, not to destroy them like one does in domestic violence!

No, sh*t head, blowing up the World Trade Center and killing thousands of Americans and our being in a 4 year war in a country where the population is divided between Sunnis and Shiites bent on killing each other might have something to do with it. Take your phoney victimhood and shove it.
Don't forget the first bombings of the WTC in 1993, the bombing of the US Embassy in Kenya, the bombing of the USS Cole...

First of all, your question makes no sense; my recommendation is to rephrase.
Secondly, I can only assume that you are trying to correlate domestic violence to aggressiveness to Muslims; again, your attempted correlation is irrelevant with no statistical OR hard data available.
Your question doesn't even warrant a "nice try" tag.

theres something interesting I've thought lately, of course I could be totally wrong, so dont be mad if I am
look at most americans, theyre always secluded in little groups and dont mix, racial groups, pilitical groups, religious groups, chinese dont mix with anything but chinese there, or most blacks, just stick with blacks, and when youre in one political stand, you dont mix with the other, they just seem to obsess about everything, and are always so agressive towards one another, so every once in a while, they need to get an enemy outside of the USA, so EVERYONE hates that enemy, actually makes them a little more united, ever heard of the phrase my enemy's enemy is my friend? so actually war calms them down a little......I know I shouldn't say this but......I actually think the american government plotted the plane crash on the twin towers, what better way to get everyone angry against muslims?
I think the other answerers are right in one thing, you need to get more facts for your question, but if you asked, are MOST (not ALL) americans really agressive? then most definitely yes
