I don't usually go into questions that say "are conservatives this, or are liberals that"... but I thought I would dip into the mire...
but seriously... I've seen so many times where conservatives either don't believe something because it's not happening in their town or to someone they know...
the world is much larger than just you and your town... even larger than your state and country... and those things, if not dealt with, could one day affect YOU...
even when I ask a theoretical question, conservatives assume that the subject of the question is directly related to me... I ask a question about poverty, they tell me to get to work... when I have a job?
Sorry I see poor people from time to time and I stop and think about them? maybe even ask a question? but that's just one example that I've seen in many different questions...
but the true irony here is that many of them are religous and the golden rule basically directly speaks against this action?
