Do you understand that military service is voluntary... no one has to join if they dont want to... And those that have joined in the last 3 years knew they are going to Iraq? Its their choice... this is not WWII or Vietnam when there was a draft... Military service is voluntary.

Even if the Bush twins did sign up for the military, they still do not allow women on the front lines. It is doubtful that they would wind up in IRAQ anyways. Nobody makes poor people sign up for the military. It is their choice. Nobody make anyone sign up for the military. It doesn't matter anyways. The Democrats have control of congress, it is their turn to screw up the country.

McCain's son yes, however, you can not honestly say that any other senator or the Bush-tarts (or the rich in general) see any need to help find weapons, or freedom or whatever the lie of the hour is. They are educated enough to know that, it is a lunatic chicken-hawk in charge. Why are you not there, if you support it so much? Too old (over 40), too fat or too rich? And what about your kids? Put a little Iraqi sand in their rumps. I reject the Kill Kids for Kollege economics. Why should economic desperation and blackmail be the key way to fill the needed ranks (really, you can't say it is not true and maintain any credibility)? Draft EVERYBODY for two years service!! Show the carnage, coffins, costs and tell the truth. We'll stop this war in a week!

Finnaly, like most wannabe politicians, McCain Jr. just is looking to the future (gotta the experience of military desk-surfing). (BTW he's probably in the Texas Air Guard, remember them?)

No it is not just the poor that sign up, it just happens that they make up the majority of those serving in the military. Highly advertised promises of a free education, career opportunities, etc. A hell of a lot more then some of our poor young people have, at home, where the President is George Bush and, unfortunately, as you said, it is, "voluntary".

sure, a fat baby named Brendan that is going to my pal's college. he's an unsightly alpha fail who imagine he's so cool, yet he's extremely a dumb a** that all of us hates. even as ever i bypass there after my college ends to sit back out with my pal all the youngsters he's friends with, this baby might want to consistently come as a lot as us, trash search for suggestion from with us, butting into our conversations to commence an challenge or attempt to practice us incorrect on own stuff he would not even understand we are speaking about. He also asks what i'm doing there and says i'm not meant to be there, yet I easily have permission to go back by after college. we are all bored to death with it and are about to kick his a** sometime quickly. he's inquiring for it. We tell the instructors what is going on, yet they consistently take his aspect. How stupid and stressful is that?

According to an Associated Press poll, 35% of American's believe the draft will be IMPOSED in 2007. Me personally, I think there will be a lot of bullet-dodging agents trying to round up kids to put into the armed forces.

There will NEVER be a draft for the wars Bush has started. There will be a full blown REVOLUTION first. Lots of dead government employees before a draft is successfully implemented in the USA.

Well, why is it that there is ONLY ONE congressman/prominent politician with a kid serving in Iraq?? A little more than a coincidence if you ask me.

So do a study comparing the volunteer rates of rich versus poor. I think you might find a startling difference.

Of course he understands it. He's just asking his moronic questions to get under the skin of conservatives. The best thing you can do is to ignore these mental midgets.
