Depends on where they live, the culture they are raised in. The first answerer stated that all her children are liberals. All mine and my friends and families are conservative, except for one. As they get older they will HOPEFULLY research and go the direction they feel is right. Not just follow what they heard at home and school. As for TECHX69, the reason Foxs news does so well is it has a large Democratic audience along with the Conservatives. It at least is willing to let Liberals on their shows, and say their piece. Independents like me watch for that reason. CBS is so blatantly Liberal it should be part of the DNC. Or maybe a cartoon as it has been caught lying so often it has no credibility left, except for the left

rejection of the "america deserved to be attacked" idea is not a rejection of being liberal it is a rejection of a truncated version of a very complex idea which speaks to the fact that we don't live in a black and white world. Hopefully the younger generation learn to appreciate that it's a complex world they've been brought into and that they should use as many words as possible to question leaders and understand the immeasurable nuances which exist in relationships amongst people throughout the world. So to answer your question, yes i have faith that the younger generations will reject a talking points version of the world and hope that they will allow themselves to be educated and not be afraid to show that they are intellectually curious.

What is your source for this? Sounds pretty anecdotal.
I don't recall too many Americans stating that the US deserved to be attacked...if you are citing Ward Churchill you should be aware that he is an Ethnic Studies professor. Ethnic Studies is a discipline, different from History, Sociology or Political Science, it is a contrarian discipline vis a vis mainstream Western perceptions. It is not intended to supplant common culture, rather to promote empathy and to broaden understanding. In doing this, there can be very extreme rhetoric used to make points.

Nobody decent really thinks that anybody deserves to be attacked. The U.S. people didn't in 9/11, and the Afghani and Iraqi people do not deserve to be attacked either. When there is a tyrannical leader/regime special forces should just execute the ones at the top using sniping techniques to save all the innocent slaughter.
Damn you war-mongers giving me thumbs down.

I was a liberal in my youth, too. Then I got out of high school, got a job, got married, and moved out into the real world. All that idealism got beat out of me. I find that liberals live in a dream world. They are not living in the real world where not all people are nice, not all people are honest. Not all individuals are wonderful, peace loving human beings who want to surround themselves with fuzzy puppies and daisies. It's easy for liberals to see big corporations and rich folks as bad, but they believe that every one else is a victim.
Real life tends to turn liberals into regular folks.

I have alot of hope for any young generation who ignores party lines and starts thinking for themselves. Find a leader who best represents your thoughts and interests, then vote for them...regardless of their party affiliation.

Well, of my 3 natural children, my 3 foster children and all their friends, they are all liberals. So, I think America may just have a fighting chance with the next generation.

I think it's up to us to educate our kids of cause and effect. Anti-American and destructive talk isn't good. Unless it is pulled up it will grow and I don't care to see the fruit of it. They should be taught to respect others beliefs regardless and hold fast to their own. Most children are not stupid, we should give them room to grow and think for themselves more. Not total liberty but enough space to do the right thing...

Ya know, I wish God would bless America again
Like he did way back there when it all began
He blessed her then and we sorta took it
for granted and didn't ask again
So let's just kinda hold her hand now... that's all
In case she stumbles let's don't let her fall
