its a real simple concept...al qaeda wants the west dead...they dont care how, where, or what they do to get it. they dont have rules of social engagement...they kill. Bush did something about it. He really didnt care much about popularity contests and polls..what was needed for survival was action. The idea of no known successfull attack on domestic soil since 911 lends some credibility to that.
what the liberals have trouble with is war is ugly and kills people and very unpopular but sometimes is very necessary and in this case is required for survival. again, its action, not popularity.
if you have noticed with the big power grab for the liberals last November, you heard alot about Iraq, but not now. Now you hear of, again, tax and spend, and unfunded mandates like the minimum wage and the forced sick leave. the reason for this is very simple. there isnt a simple solution to jihad and ms, Pelosi is well aware of that. Very quietly and on the back pages was buried that Ms Pelosi actually agreed about the troop increase and thats most likely the way things will go.
Bottom line here. Bush was about survival and Pelosi is about tax and spend. When you take a moment and filter out the liberal media bias and get past the democratic led constant barrage of death counts in iraq, the politics become quite clear.

President Bush certainly isn't right about everything but it seems like liberals want to spend most of their time complaining about the current administration while offering no real plan for fixing any of things their complaining about. Liberals still haven't come up with a working plan for pulling out of Iraq without many of our soldiers getting killed in the process, or a plan for the immigration problem. The only thing they can agree on is that they want too raise our taxes, that will fix those darn tax cuts.

Our President wants what is best for Americans and her allies. He has put his political respect on the line to keep our people safe and think about it. Many great president's have done the right thing and have been attacked politically for doing the right thing. Don't believe the propaganda put out by the people that want a "Borg" nation.

Why do people like you waste the time of others with stupid questions like this, that are intended to offend and irk people? Why not try some intelligent discourse and debate of political issues? Try to improve instead of wasting your life trying to irritate
