I think that's the real reason we're beefing up along the border down there. Every great war of expansion takes years of planning in advance. Hitler took power in 1932, but didn't begin his military conquest until 1939 with the invasion of Poland. Bush took power in Jan. 2001, and we saw soon after what his agenda is. Government has always laid the ground in advance for their actions, by feeding the media with statements supporting their later plans. I would look for a Mexican invasion sometime after Iraq is brought under control. Don't forget- a war right next to home may be cheaper to wage, but we would need to defend our OWN land from invasions and retaliatory strikes, something this country has not had to do since the Revolutionary War. Rather than HELP the economy as all our past wars have, it may cause it to crumble. If you're waiting to enlist for the endeavor, good luck, and SEND ME A POSTCARD FROM CANCUN! ;)

Never. The government doesn't want to admit it, but they don't mind illegal immigration. It's a win-win situation from American big business and Mexico. If they did care, they'd reform the immigration system, enforce immigration laws and tighten border controls waaaay before they started any war with Mexico.

About the same time as the British government invade Poland. This country is full of them. They are taking our jobs for cheaper wages. This is causing our standard of living to drop amongst other things. Mind you this sort of thing has been happening in this country since 1948. We never learn.

The US does not act until till things get really really bad and then the pendulem swings. When more officers are killed by illegals and there is no room in public schools and emergency rooms all close because illegals arent paying their bill, then something MIGHT happen. Im going to Asia so its your problem now. (going legally)

With the democrats in charge it ain't going to happen. They are already backing up and getting in the way of anything that prohibits or impedes the Mexicans progress to come over. They want them here.
