It is not just the democrats but the entire federal government could care less about its citizens. Health care should be free or at least affordable to all, but instead, the health care industry has become another part of the capitalistic machine where profits matter before human life.
My work pays for my insurance, but I have to cover the first $1000 deductible. I pay, out of my own pocket, over $500 a month so that my family is covered. The same deductible applies to each member. I barely make ends meet and the insurance hasn't paid for itself and likely never will unless a catastrophe strikes (knock on wood).

RE Thanks To Democrats, I Can't Afford Health Insurance?
I live in New Jersey. But, Democrats refuse to allow me to buy a health insurance plan based in Pennsylvania, where insurance is cheaper.
Why do Democrats make life so hard on American families? They refuse to support the idea of letting those of us without insurance buy plans based in other states. Don't Democrats care about us?

Ohhhh, You are Soooo Right!
Does John Edwards sound familiar? He got rich destroying the Doctors in his area! Now he wants to be President?!!! LMFAO!!
Only A truly Dim Dem would ever let a little POS like him into their party!-After you rape and pillage, I always thought you were supposed to lay low!
Then, you have your Welfare sponges and illegals getting free rides at all the hospitals(Primarily Dem's) and the hospitals then just pass the costs on to the people who can afford insurance and the companies that supply insurance to their workers!
I advocate Government sponsored Medical School/Hospitals to provide training for people who cannot afford private Med School and for Doctors wanting to help without the threat private practice suffers from your Dem President wannabes(Edwards).
This would be a great way to bolster our Medical services, Make affordable treatment available to the freeloaders destroying the private practice, and free up Emergency rooms for emergencies-instead of a way for criminal employers that hire undocumented workers(That also do not have or provide Workers Comp.) to dump job related injuries on the public!
Now, health insurance would be more affordable for those wanting private care and the overburden on our system is alleviated!
I would also recommend what William Shakespeare suggested-"Let's kill all of the Lawyers, Let's kill them tonight!"-But, then there would no longer be ANY Democratic Reps left!

No they do not - they only care about their pocket books!
On a serious note - the welfare system was developed to help Americans make ends meet while unemployed - most of the people on welfare are democrats that are by no means willing to give up the free money.

The Democrats are hoping that by keeping health insurance so hard to afford you'll start thinking that they are right about socialized health care! They will run this country into the ground just to get what they want!(If we let them!!!) Insurance is insane I live in Florida and my husband and I pay over 600 dollars a month on insurance for the two of us and our daughter!!!!

I think you may be confused.
If you can not afford your own health insurance, then you should not be a Republican. They will not offer you the time of day on the street, much less any social program for you.
Republicans have been in charge in Washington for a decade. Any problems with the status of your financial well being should be addressed to them.
If you are wondering about where your free health care is, it was spent it on Haliburton. Let's not forget the NINE BILLION in cash that we donated to Al Qaeda and the insurgency in Iraq.
End the illegal occupation of Iraq
BRING ALL OF OUR TROOPS HOME NOW!!!

The National-Union feels that a federal plan to reduce medical lawsuits and registering all insurers will aid citizens better in healthcare because these factors raise up costs which are passed to consumers, http://www.voteprimous.com

In Florida, that grew to become right into a Republican concept - i grew to become right into a student with out medical coverage, and the state handed a regulation that required all people attending a state college to instruct evidence of coverage or connect their plan. so as that they take $1500 a 12 months out of my student mortgage equipment to pay for some thing i do no longer desire, do no longer desire, and which hasn't helped to pay for my visits to docs and dentists. yet a minimum of the state can brag that no student in the state gadget is with out well-being coverage. Duh!

Sounds like you're in a pickle!
Whatever...however, your predicament ain't the fault of any Democrat!
It's the Republicans who are trying to legislate morality at the expense of everything else!
Republicans will waste sessions debating the rights and wrongs of gay-marriage instead of working on affordable healthcare measures for all Americans!
Now...I'm not saying that gay-marriage ain't wrong; in my opinion it is...BUT...the greater wrong is for Republicans to continually neglect/ignore the health of the masses!
Republican actions have been shameful in every respect; since they are so concerned with family values and the like!
