A landfill owned by Waste Management is expanding across the street from my property. I've tried fighting them and have dealt with them to buy my property but, the local government and courts seem to be working against me. It looks like they may seize my property for municipal use. I need help!!!!

Governments have the right to condemn your property under eminent domain. Once the decision has been made, your only recourse is to make sure they offer you fair market value for your property. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

If you are in CA, there's something called the Dept. of Toxic Substances Control. They have a division called Emergency Response/Special Profjects that responds to hazardous spills, clean up of drug labs, etc. It is a part of the CA Environmental Protection Agency.

If you aren't in CA, there most likely is a similar agency.
