Bush said many times that we would leave as soon as the Iraqis ask us to. More than 80% of the public wants us out. Only our puppet government does not ask us to leave. If they had any independent will, they would, too.

it seems that american politicians would rather meddle in affairs that are not their own instead of dealing with real issues at home. if there was a way to erradicate war machines, there would be enough to help out the struggling programs and people in the country. otherwise, if the u.s. continues on its path, it will only deconstruct what it once was and stood for. the u.s of today is not nearly what it was when it was first created. the dream fails when it can no longer support and care for its own people.

what can we do to prevent the fall of a nation, a nation in which so many stand for, dream about, and attempt to achieve their goals?

America blames Bush for Iraq, but Congress had to vote OK for us to be able to go. Many democrats, including John Kerry voted for the war in Iraq, yet the Democrats try to push it all off on George W. and the Republicans. So, why do so many democrats who voted for the war, swear that they're all against it?

Is this really helping our economy? Or is this the reason that we have 17.5 million people unemployed in the US? If you don't think this is the cause of unemployment, what is the cause? Do you think it is the cause of the escalation of homeless people...going from 300,000 to 750,000 in Bush's terms of office?

It seems that the division of parties is so extreme to one side, that the Repubs and Dems have lost true sight of what this country is all about. I am neither, I am independent. It shouldn't be about right or left, it should be about right or wrong. Bush, for example, I agree on certain issues and disagree on others. But mostly what I see on here is he is 100% right or he is a 100% idiot. We are getting away from what true politics are about; to help strengthen and help our country grow and prosper. Instead, we are tearing it down and it's both parties faults. How can both parties work together when the division is so far apart?

What ever happened to the party of fiscal responsibility?
why has the conservative party turned its backs against it own doctrines and adopted a leftist foreign spending policy and is asserting more nationalistic power than any previous democrat ever before.
Is Neo-conservatism officially the new philosophy running the republican party?

Why is it that the liberals want to radically change this country into something totally different? We have the best country in the world. I have been a lot of places and couldn't find another country that treats its citizens so well as we do. It's like there not happy here. We haven't had a better economy,..the stock market has reached a record high. Unemployment has hit a record low, yet the liberals are not happy and could supposedly do a better job. Before we took out Saddam the liberals were 100% behind the Republicans, now they're backing down acting like they were against it the whole time. They seem to say whats convenient for themselves at the time. They want to legalize illegal aliens which our prisons are full of them for atrocities that they have committed here. this country is being poisoned from the inside and our own citizens are helping. Look at San Francisco.

Sorry, just had to let some steam out.

Alright... PLEASE no "we shouldn't have gone in the first place" rants. I've heard all you've got to say, little as it is... What I want to see is whether you have actually considered the consequences of withdrawing from Iraq BEFORE they are able to take care of themselves. Please, bear in mind I want our troops hom as much as you. I've got family there. I simply refuse to accept anything less than victory, refuse to abandon those people before they are able to take care of themselves. So... With that in mind, answer the question above...

If the data indicated in the movie is true, I would think this is an urgent matter for the survival of mankind. Why isn't more drastic methods used to rise the consciousness of the public? Shouldn't this be distributed for free on the internet? It is cost effective and can certainly reach a wide audience all over the world. I am sure that this will bring in much more money for the cause than what is received from the tickets and royalties. Only that the money may not be directed to the people who produces the movie. Can Utube work on making this happen? I am sure this will be a drastic boost to their popularity.
