Guantanamo is a detainment camp, not a prison. The combatants detained there have not been found guilty of crimes. It was designed to hold around 1000 combatants and there are many US prisons with a greater population.

#1 Gitmo is in Cuba - not the US.
#2 Gitmo's population is small compared to most state-side prisons.
#3 I have no idea what your second question is supposed to mean.

Gitmo has about 200-300 max prisoners, most Federal pens have several thousand.

I don't think the most populated prison is in Guantanemo. I think many US prisons house many more than the few hundred in Cuba. I could be wrong tho.
