All those who attack Bush and Blair for Iraq - what would YOU have done?

(i) Would you have turned a blind eye to the torture and brutality and done nothing (as they treated Hitler in 1937), or

(ii) Would you have relied on the United Nations to talk about a solution even though they have failed to do anything of any real value for the past 50 years.

It is easy to criticize from the comfort of your living room; safe in the knowledge that you will never face such a decision in your lives, so now is your chance to tell us what YOU would have done about Sadam and the Kurds.

Was the war in Iraq an excuse to grab Iraqi Oil for big profits for the Oil Companies and secure an American supply of Oil for the next thirty years.

The Leaders of the World give the President of the United States lots of respect, as it should be, but the respect currently is based mostly on The Office of the President of the United States and not based on the conduct of the current President of our beloved Country.
President W. Bush is a puzzle and a problem for a very large number of people in America, and apprently, the number of puzzled folks also includes his father.
George H. W. Bush who has recently and seemingly, over his son Bush W., broken down and cried like a baby twice in public while making a speeches.
It is just a sorry time for all of America.

The problem I'm seeing is. The thin line many churches used to imply their message is now being crossed to the point they are yelling their message out loud and at all costs. This is basically making the statement that God supports our man. Which is the same as the Holy Roman Empire or many of these supposive Islamic States that are supposed to be so unstable and undemocratic. Where do you draw the line in saying this is your opinion and quit using the implication of God to support it.

It's a dangerous mix to say the least to have politics directly invovled in religion. What are the law pertaining to politcal committes or canidates going to churches seeking support or having pastors or preachers supporting them respectively?

Why is Congress so eager to normalize the killing of unborn humans for their body parts? What sort of grisly mindset compels these legislators to believe it’s ethical to kill one human to benefit another? Is it because the embryo can’t donate, scream, protest, or picket? How can a civilized society accept the high-tech cannibalism involved in the deliberate killing of a human embryo to harvest its parts?

Perhaps our Congressmen should research the horrific practice in Communist China of killing political prisoners for their body parts. The same logic applies to the killing of unborn embryos for their parts. Does anyone have a good answer? I don't want my tax dollars going to fund this practice. There if enough private funds (BILLIONS) available for this. Thoughts?

I've noticed that there are more Conservatives on the computer in the morning. Is this because more Conservatives are at work in the morning and more liberals are at home sleeping in from a late night waiting tables or bartending? Just curious.

just an example:

CHEAP LABOR?

Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?

Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage

Consumers don't want expensive produce

Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs

But the bottom line is cheap labor
The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie
~ there is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children.

He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour.

At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax,
yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return,
he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent

He qualifies for food stamps

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay)
health care

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school

He requires bilingual teachers and books

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled,
they qualify for SSI.

Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare.

All of this is at the taxpayer's expense.

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life
insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins
and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to
$30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour
Left after paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime,
graffiti and trash clean-up.
