The Leaders of the World give the President of the United States lots of respect, as it should be, but the respect currently is based mostly on The Office of the President of the United States and not based on the conduct of the current President of our beloved Country.
President W. Bush is a puzzle and a problem for a very large number of people in America, and apprently, the number of puzzled folks also includes his father.
George H. W. Bush who has recently and seemingly, over his son Bush W., broken down and cried like a baby twice in public while making a speeches.
It is just a sorry time for all of America.

I think America is a great country but has been let down but its leaders, especially in recent years.

Bush is an idiot and holds little to no respect, but the US as a nation holds respect as a super power. Most people see Bush as being stupid, arrogant, and disrespectful (he certainly was to Blair, who I hate but he still deserves respect as the Primeminister of Britain).

When George Bush is no longer President I think the US will start to improve.

Hate is a very strong word. I think that people around the world have no respect for GWB - rather than hate him. He is regarded as an imbecile...and he reinforces that belief everytime he speaks. It IS a sad time in America, because this once respected country has disintegrated into a joke - in the eyes of many other countries. What was once the greatest nation in the world is now the greatest joke in the world. Sad.

As to why Americans don't understand the feelings of others around the world...I believe its because they are mostly blind patriots (just look at the partisan comments on this forum for proof.) "My country...right or wrong" is a strong representation of the Americans I've spoken to. Its great to be patriotic, but not so great to leave your brain in a jar and allow others to do your thinking for you...

expensive u . s . of america, The Bush is a very enormous prosperous kinfolk. Their wealth is oil. they're Irish. the U. S. is managed by way of leaders in eire. eire makes use of England as a lower back bone to help the U. S.. So Bush on my own isn't to blame, he's portion of it, yet we could continuously no longer factor a finger and blame Bush. let's no longer ignore that Presidents are used as gadgets by way of accurate leaders we can by no ability comprehend who they're or what they offer the impression of being like. The Bush went to warfare now to not wrestle terror, it really is a made up reason a useless ringer for the 9/11 plane crashes become also a set-up by way of the U. S., they went to warfare to take over Iraq because Israel is affraid Iran might want to take over Israel; the income for the U. S. is that the U. S., Bush kinfolk, owns the oil in Iraq. income for eire/England, my prediction is that the U. S. will visit warfare with Arabia numerous a lengthy time period later. The Bush addministration - sanctions adverse to Iran for construction nuclear guns, it really is yet another pretend communicate as to what the U. S. is amazingly as a lot as with Iran. There are different causes besides assisting Israel, yet we can by no ability comprehend the completed the reason why the U. S. went to warfare. We in consumer-friendly words comprehend what we listen, and to argue on what we listen has no logical sence. Bush is portion of it, yet in consumer-friendly words a small portion of it.

America has been the whipping boy for the world for many years. This attitude did not begin with George Bush, he is just the latest excuse to explain it. If you make a critical examination of world opinion what you will find is that true anti American sentiment in the western world began with the fall of the Soviet Union. When they were powerful the world expected protection and that protection was the leadership and ability of America. Now they do not see any global threats and no longer feel they require this protection and thus do not care if they offend us. America is always the first country to lend aid and comfort where required. We are the first country to provide military support when required. We defended Europe for 50 years against Soviet aggression, but we have now been cast aside. I am an American and I really don't care what the world thinks about us or our political leaders because it is all dishonest rhetoric. They want to tell us how to conduct our affairs including who is acceptable to vote for. They call us evil and corrupt, but I don't see any of them breaking trade agreements. In short they hate us, but they want our money and most especially our markets for their products. Unless we have personally attacked a country they have no grounds to hate us, but they will no matter what we do. So you can worry about this if you wish. For me I choose to be a proud arrogant American and if the world doesn't like they can kiss my nethers. Invade us, I dare you.

has anyone noticed that no matter WHO is in office, people will attempt to degrade or find fault.
look what disgusting actions were taken against Clinton.
every president seems to have faced hypocritical opposition.

society has become too enamored with destroying anyone who dares be a "leader".
I definitely won't deny the current office has some hidden agenda and ulterior motives.

but - the world has to grow up and stop using scapegoats as reasons why "the world" is a mess.

the world is a mess because people are too selfish and lazy to fix itself. we all know it's easier to blame others for our problems than actually look in the mirror and see who really created these situations.

Yeah I too long for the time when the office of President of the united states meant Blo w j o bs in the oval office those heady days really made the world respect that office didn't they. Get a hold of your self and believe half of what you hear and some or none of what you read this so called disapproval is a farce created and perpetuated by the media to help the Democrats get elected. If you examine the phraseology used in some of the polls touted by them its laughable how they are able to get away with this rubbish.

We understand. Nobody else's opinion matters. The rest of the world are too chicken **** to do anything worthwhile so they criticize. Our troops are fighting terrorists and Muslim extremists so that one day the rest of the world will know who the real Superpower is and who are just wussies. They can only throw insults (and rocks) because they have no backbone to do the difficult things that make a difference. All we hear from other countries is whining and crying.

I like him.
I think the problem for a very large number of people in America is the media.
I can't tell by some of the answers you got that people really don't understand how things work.
We are not here to share power with other countries.
Why should we ..they wouldn't.
It is up to every country to look out for ones own interest.
The USA is not a communist country and hopefully never will be.

People of the world don't hate Mr. George W. Bush, they hate people of the United States of America and everything related to this beloved country. What I don't understand is why some people from this country, or people living and receiving benefits from this country, hate this country. Unbelievable!!
