Bush went with the info he had at the time from intelligence agencies throughout the world, including France. They all said the same thing. If Bush lied, how come I have these quotes from Democrats, including President Clinton, from as far back as 1998?

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
--Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
--Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
-- Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
-- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

RIGHT ON Rukidding!! I've posted a couple of those quotes before to answer this same old tired question. But they choose to ignore the facts as they always do because they conflict with their out and out hate of Bush which goes all the way back to his winning in 2000. In their minds everything from Katrina to global warming is Bush's fault. And of course he was behind 911 and it was his fault their dog got ran over by their neighbor when he ran out in the street. Damn Bush is soooo evil!!

Please believe that Dubyah doesn't deliberately lie!..He is a mind bogglingly stupid man, that's why 'they' put him in the white house!.He really does believe that ever thing he mispronounces off the autocue is true!..The extreme religious right, the 'neocons' and big corporates in the oil and weapons marketing business's who bought him into power, control his every word thought and deed!..He doesn't know any better!..He never gets to hear any other opinions, they control his media interviews, even the questions he is to be asked are 'vetted' by them first!.These power people control the US media!..
Have you ever wondered why Dubyah isn't allowed to face the media when he's overseas?..Or if he does, its always a 'minder' who answers the questions, not him?..Or maybe in the good ol' holy righteous christian USA your not allowed to know these things anymore!..Think about it!

Bahahaha.. In the article, Clinton sounds just like Bush.

In other words... If Bush lied, so did Clinton.

Apparently, from all the answers, I'm the only one who read the article.

Because he's a bully and hypocrite! In America we have freedom of choice.

And Bush's policy in Iraq is, "Choose Democracy or die refusing it. " I think someone named Hitler tried that a long time ago. Read your history books!
