For the past few weeks, I have keeping up with the situation between Lebanon and Israel. I believe that Israel does have a right to stand up for itself in a region that is geographically dominated by muslims, but are they really approaching this conflict properly? From what I have read, lots of women and children are being punished over in Lebanon as a result of a governmental conflict. People in Lebanon who hadn't necessary shown any resentment for Israel or the United States are now furious with americans and israelis. When people are in this state of frustration and panic, it becomes very easy to persuade their rationale by means of propaganda.

I have a strong feeling that this conflict will not end anytime soon. There are just too many issues at the present that cannot be worked out by means of negotiations and peace treaties. The only question is, will propaganda cause more countries to join in the conflict before this situation is over?

If you look at my profile you will see that I am neither male nor female. Oh I look like a dude, but with my regular hormones levels (I don't take Testosterone) I'd look like a dude iin a dress too. How does this law effect those like me? Do I have to marry a man to file as married. If that wouldn't be a gay marriage nothing would. And if it's gender that we are going to base a right on shouldn't there be a chromisome test done to make sure that bug straping girlfriend of farmer john's is really about to be a wife and not a husband? How closely should we look?

Look at history. If we did not have liberals, we would still be living in the dark ages. It is liberal (open to new ideas) policies that have advanced civilizations. If we always stay with the status quo, we would not have advanced to where we are today.
In America, liberals got women the right to vote, ended slavery, changed medicine for the better, set up our free press, ended child labor, created safer work places and highway safety, created environmental policies, created free schools for all. The list could go on and on.
Let's admit we are all liberal and realize the fallacy of "the good old days" was just that. A fallacy.
Life expectancy has never been longer. Crime rates have never been lower. Our middle class, while now paying a larger percentage of taxes then ever before, has never been larger.
Blaming liberals for our nations faults is our way of not taking responsibility for our own actions.

Women do not want to be burdened with decision making of local and Federal government. I tell my wife to keep the house and she is taken care of. Women want to clean and keep men happy not weigh in on foreign or fiscal policy. My little wife can't even balance her allowance.

HELP! I was called into the benefit's office yesterday to be quizzed about benefit fraud. They have had a report (from my ex Husband) that I am claiming as a lone parent and living with someone.
I live with my parents and left him because of domestic violence. He's always threatening me, saying things like he's gonna make my life hell! I can't escape him!.
I can't believe he's sunk this low to do this to me!!!!
What do I do now?
Yes I do have a new boyfriend and I do visit him at his house. BUT I DON'T LIVE WITH HIM!!!
I know my ex is trying to get revenge on me for leaving.
Has anyone else had this problem? and how do I prove I AM innocent?

Last week the libs/dumbocrats were faulting Bush for not being more vocal about the Israeli incursion into Lebanon, but were careful not to take a stance for themselves. This week they are criticizing him for not condemning Israel in their pursuit of terrorists. Do they wait until the ruling party makes a decision and choose the opposite position?

Ben-Gurion 1938: The state will only be a stage in the realization of Zionism and its purpose is to prepare the grounds for our expansion.

Joseph Weitz 1940: "There is no room for both peoples together in this country..To transfer all the Arabs; not one willage, not one tribe should be left.

Moshe Dayan 1969: "We came here to a country that was populated by Arabs and we are building here a Hebrew, Jewish state. Instead of Arab villages, Jewish villages are established...There is not a single Jewish settlement that was not established in place of a former Arab village.

Golda Meir 1969: "There was no such thing as a Palestinian people...It was not as though there was a Palestinian people concidering itself as a Palestinian people and we came and threw them out and took their country away form them. THEY DID NOT EXIST.

The Rome conference was said to have agreed to the continuance of the so called offensive against Labanese and Palestinians targets irrespective if the targets are civilians? We ask and wonder why people become terrorist. They spend their time and money to have a meeting where they sit on their behinds and talk while others are being killed and yet come up with a license for robbers and murderers to continue with the killing? Do all these members of the Rome conference have any conscience or are they just a bunch of heartless morons who does not have anymore humanity left but to join bullies in their agenda to hold the world to ransom. Don't these have children and families that they could condone these atrocities happenning to others or are they not worthy of help and protection by the world? What world is this that we all call home, a home for hypocrites?

What I'm asking is why do the people we put in charge handle things the same way they handled them when they were 11 or 12? Subtle differences include launching missiles instead of throwing rocks, attacking beliefs instead of hairstyles or clothes, wanting nukes because everyone else has them instead of those BB shoes. I can hear Tony Blair now, "but George gets to invade Iraq, I want to invade Iraq too!" It makes me sick. The best thing that could happen in the world today would be for it's leaders to grow up (or) for us to select those that have. When you look at dramatic and long suffered people like Nelson Mandela and the things they sacrificed to let the world grow into a tolerant and peaceful place, you cannot help but question the powers that be on their "maturity".
