And why would anyone want 72 virgins in the first place, that is a little odd. The whole myth is obscene. Let's see that is either 72 young girls (so we are looking at spiritual pedophilia), or it is 72 women whom a man deflowers and then they are what? Wives? Concubines? Whores? What gives with this twisted mythology?

The actual ratio is much closer to one woman one man.
I figure they just keep re-using the same virgins =P
I think they have it right though .... A man should marry as many women as he can afford. If that were the case, I would still be a bachelor.
