What I'm asking is why do the people we put in charge handle things the same way they handled them when they were 11 or 12? Subtle differences include launching missiles instead of throwing rocks, attacking beliefs instead of hairstyles or clothes, wanting nukes because everyone else has them instead of those BB shoes. I can hear Tony Blair now, "but George gets to invade Iraq, I want to invade Iraq too!" It makes me sick. The best thing that could happen in the world today would be for it's leaders to grow up (or) for us to select those that have. When you look at dramatic and long suffered people like Nelson Mandela and the things they sacrificed to let the world grow into a tolerant and peaceful place, you cannot help but question the powers that be on their "maturity".

Perhaps leadership is not an intellectual trait.
But an emotional one.

Just because you are misinformed and have absolutely no understanding of the issues and what is at stake, does not give you the right to climb up on a soap box and give lectures. If you are going to be sick, as you claim, make your self sick about your total ignorance of world history and what is actually happening in the world today. You have absolutely no grasp of the realities of the world in which you live. For you to deliver such a windy, pompous diatribe only further demonstrates how silly and ignorant you are. You are just another loser with no brains and no common sense who thinks because you own a computer and can get on the internet that you can solve all the world's problems. I suggest you study some world history and read up on current events before opening your pie hole again.

Just because you are having delusions does not mean that any of them have any basis in reality. Your ignorance is a great contributor to much of our country's problems today. You must be a product of our public schools, as you know absolutely nothing but think you belong standing on the rooftops lecturing everyone else.

Nelson Mandela was an exception.Forget him !
Things will not get better. If you would be in Tony Blairs place you'd invade Irak too, wouldn't ya?
Few people are mature, but becoming a leader is, I think gealousy speaks in most of the people's hearts.

If you haven't noticed, this is a world wide phenomena occurring not only in government but in education, religion, business, science and the arts. Most everything is being run at the 6th grade level.

But remember it is one brand of juveniles against another. The world is devolving.

Don't you realize that lawless terrorists would skin Nelson Mandela alive and have fun doing it?

You are part of the problem, if you get hit it the face with someones fist.....you are going to say, oh, I am sorry.....I didn't mean to get my face in the way of your fist? I doubt it.....someone attacks you, you have to do something to make it known you don't play that sh*it........you kill 3000+ americans.....you get your organiszation attacked, and it should not be one missile....but an all out war....and we have done that...and it is right

it's all about who you know. the "good ol boys" system of politics. If your father has a boat business, and he retires, you take over, you may not know anything about boats, but since you were already intergrated into the company, you know all the clientel and etc.

That is just a plain stupid and biased question. Maybe you should have advanced beyond the 6th grade.

I have a choice for you: solidarity under me or despotism through me? You be the decider.
