And why did so many 'intelligent' German Generals obey his orders for years when it was obvious (after Die Kristal Nacht) that he was hell bent on exterminating the Jews in Europe among many other ethnic and social groups?

It's kind of unique. According to manufacturing symbols on it, it was produced from 1939 to 1945, so it was definitely used during the war. Also, it looks to be entirely nickel plated. I will admit, the workmanship looks kind of shoddy, and it hasn't been cleaned or oiled for at least 60 years. I also have the bayonet with it, with a nickel plated-looking scabbard as well. Can anyone tell me what it might be worth? I have had several people look at it and they all say that generally Arisakas are worth little, but they all say that they've never seen a rifle quite like mine. Every time I've asked, nobody has thought it was a fake or reproduction. Could someone give me some background or advice?

I've read many answers on this situation and have came up to this question. This is my situation,

I got in trouble with the law, DUI and a few other lesser charges. I told the recruiter up front about these and I got waivers for these at MEPS.

What I didn't tell anyone was that I was in the hospital 2 years ago for drugs, which wasn't paid by me, it was paid by the hospital or access (not sure). Before that I was prescribed some anti-depressants and talked to a Phychologist, which was paid by access.

Now my question, how easy will they find out about these things if I enlist. Would these things only be found if I went for a job that required security clearance, or will it be found out anyway without clearance.

What level of clearance do they start checking medical background (or when do they check it). If it's top secret and not secret, I should be good because I have no other criminal records, just medical.

Please help, I turned my life around and want to better it

join the cause.
I'm out now. But I mean why do civilians think they know what's best for the military all the time. Like the whole mothers of american thing. Like the arbitrary hazing like Full Metal jacket was too much and did need to stop.

But now it's like getting you're chevrons set on promotion day is hazing now. BULLSH^T
or some ways to punish one of our guys instaed of NJP and destroying his/her career.

I don't care how if you guys call me names bash on me or talk trash about me not being a man. I simply don't want to do the military anymore, It just isn't for me and I know I signed already but I just don't want to do it anymore. I called the GI rights hotline and they said I can get out of the military before I head out to boot camp...and that their threats about being sent to jail if I dont go are a bunch of lies...

I am constantly hearing about how 70% of Americans are against the war........ If this is true why didn't any ask me how I feel about it? How are any of these statistics accurate? Because they ask 100 people outside of a studio and assume that’s how everyone feels? Did it ever occur to these people that America is home to 300 million people?

When I was 14 and 15 I broke my arm with the second time needing surgery with a plate and 5 screws. Recently I joined the National Guard and when I go to drill, I do exceptionally well in all my physical training except the pushup part. My right arm starts to give out and I start to get a pain and discomfort in the area where my fracture used to be. I'm about to turn 19 and I really don't want this to lead to a discharge because the army is very important to me and I really want to leave for basic in October. I'm in good shape but when my DS told me that I needed to work on my pushups, I did so and I started to go to Bally's to work on my pushups and yet again when my instructor was helping me out, the discomfort and pain set in again in my right arm. Throughout high school I never did well in the push ups for the similar reason. Could there be something wrong with me after all these years? When i went to MEPS they took xrays and said it looked normal. Regular Dr said my arm was fine?!
