His rank is e4 and going as a healthcare specialist. What it it like there? Whats the housing like on or off post? How are the schools? Is there things for the kids to do when not in school? In lancaster, Ohio where my momma lives, the Target Store there won't let anyone shop there if they are in the military. If you have an ID and they see it they kick you out. My uncle was in his uniform going to buy some things and he walked through the door and they told him he couldn't shop here because they don't support the US Military. :( why do people have to be so rude? our men and women are fighting for these people and they can't even give thema little bit of support. stupid I tell you. I refuse to give them any of my business anymore. its just rude and why should I support them when they won't support my husband.

My husband and I talk everyday on the phone and sometimes spend 40 dollars in one day on adding minutes to his phone card. For 550 units...which is about 3 hours for calling from Iraq to here costs $42. I am aware that he must use AT&T calling cards but can you use the ones they sell at Walmart or do you have to get them directly from AT&T or AAFES? Are we spending too much for what we are getting?

My friend who's joining the Navy told me yesterday if your on ADD/ADHD meds over 6 months (I've been on Adderall XR 30mg for 8 months) you cant join the military. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this policy? Also once I graduate if I stop taking the meds could I still join?

I already know that China outnumbers us in the army. But the u.s is way far better in technology with weapons. While most critics have said that the Chinisese millitary is like a Musuem becuase of all the old weapons they still have in their army. I think Technology beats numbers of people what do u think?

It used to be one of our duties as low ranking enlisted men(persons; sorry); we had to take our turns, and I thanked the first sergeant from the bottom of my heart each and every time that I pulled KP duty. A lot of people think that KP was used as punishment; no it was one of the things a soldier had to do, too often. By the way the 'P' in KP stood for 'police' as I remember. Thanks for this oppotunity to ask another silly question.
