You need to get things in perspective. If you don't kill, you will be killed. Come back home safely and figure that out later

Did you have a faith that God would not let innocents die? But you had some history in high school, so you know that's not the case.
Did you believe you personally were anointed to be kept from seeing the gritty realities of life? Where did that idea come from?
A faith that relies on things around you being all copacetic is not much of a faith, is it? How about a little faith that your god is able to bring you through this experience to be a better man as a result?
If not, can you have faith in the Marine Corps? It is a superb troop of highly trained defenders of freedom, and some would say they are anointed by God to this task. I say it is in the very nature of a man who joins the Marines and endures the tough training because he has strength of character as well as of body. I say it is possible to have faith in their integrity and competence, and as someone else said, sort out the rest when you are safely home.

Actually, when you joined the marines you knew there was a chance of you being sent to Iraq. And what do you do in Iraq? You kill people! Suck it up, you probably have about 4 more tours to go before your close to over. Get a little patriotic.

Gezz dude, Every sane person in the world knows that there is no such thing as god. George Bush sent you to Iraq because he thought god told him too. Sane? I don't think so.
If you want a real life, It is quite simple. Just be yourself and don't get envolved in CULTS/Religon. Which are the samething
Enjoy life!!

Nobody really knows what will happen when we die, we choose to believe what makes us feel better if we feel the need to do so. You follow your heart and do what you think is right. Nothing is black and white. Thank you for what you do if you have a mostly good heart.

You are doing what the government tells you to do, your not just getting your jollies by going over there and killing people, you are doing someone elses job. But, they are too chicken---- to actually do it themselves, and they send you over and then they can curse you if it backfires. But, don't lose your faith over this, you are doing nothing wrong, you are just doing what they tell you too.
