Eglin is a hurricane risk. I remember the O Club got wiped out there a few years ago. Best recreation options of all these choices. Also may not be a good place for kids around Spring Break season every year.
Lackland has the most consistent weather, but the surrounding area is shady. San Antonio traffic is brutal.
Langley I have no experience with.
Wright-Patterson has the worst weather, very cold half the year. But probably the best schools of all these options. I spent half my life there. Centerville schools always score well. Don't live in Fairborn.
Travis I only visited once, about 25 years ago. I'm sure it's changed since. Northern California has seasons without getting too hot or cold. Local treehugging populace can sometimes be trying.

Before you put any bases on your dream sheet, you need to find out if your specialty is used there and how it's used. While Eglin is a great base in a nice area you have to think about what you might be doing there. A large percentage of the people at Englin are in units that are subject to frequent world wide deployment. Of course, depending on your specialty you may or may not have to worry about this.
Probably the best thing for you to do is talk to your instructors and find out what bases they recommend for your specialty. You might start by asking which bases they liked best, then follow-up with what they didn't like about it.

I'm at Wright Patt and love it. I have no children but know there are some very good private schools in the area that my friend's kids go to. Granted I'm from the east coast so I don't mind the "cold" and in my opinion relatively small amount of snow compared to areas further east.

I was stationed at Offutt for my last few years of service, and when I got out of the airforce I stuck around. The cost of living here is like no other place I have been. The education is top of the line, and yes there are lots of schools in base housing.

Does the Air Force still have a base in Nakkon Phannon, Thailand? That would have been my dream! I wanted to experience "the basket"!!!
