why do people call the terrorists in Iraq 'freedom fighters'? and why do we label the terrorists in Iraq people fighting the occupation? I mean these heathens chop heads off, blow up markets, schools, police etc. wouldn’t they be attacking our troops not civilians if it was the occupation?? also how are we breeding terrorism?? is it possible to make a person kill/disfigure men ,women, children, chop heads off, kill police all because we made them kill their own people by invading?? I know I’ll get flagged for this unfortunately in the eyes of yahoo criticizing Islam is a term of use violation I lost 40 points today because of that.hmmmm ok.

I don't know what they sell at the PX and don't want to ship things over there that he can easily get on base. Most of the articles on-line that I've read are not from 2006 and I think the conditions on base are much improved. He's at Ali AB, if that helps. Thx.

I really don't want to go into the fighting or anything, at all, so I don't see how boot camp is necessary. Can this be explained to me, and are there other ways to be trained in medicine through the military without being put through boot camp?

To be honest, I want to go through the military for the training in the field I want to go through, and for the help I can get through med school. I really don't want to be there to contribute to the fighting and killing.

Thanks!

My friend pulled himself out the military as he disbelieved the war after 18 months of service in Iraq. He saw how patrioc soldiers and innocent Iraqis got killed because of Bush's

But now he is recalled and will report to army in Jan and will be sent to Iraq again. He's ok to go there to help rebuild the country but is more concerned that the war may expand to other countries, and again, for the purpose of Bush's own political and family benefit.

He wanted to refuse to go back, but if so he'll be put in jail and it's a disgrace for him also.

Is there a way not to go but still keep his honor?

I see where this is an issue being pursued by the Christian Coalition, and I am wondering whether such discrimination is prevalent, and what forms does it take?

Specifically, about experiences, feelings, and how the Intelligence gets passed on to them. (not specific intelligence of course, just the process)

What do you think of military fiances? I am engaged to a guy who is about to start training to be an Army Ranger... a lot of people view this as a negative thing. What is your view on that?

I am thinking about joining OCs for the USMC. I've been doing some research and stuff and have been thinking really hard about this. It is a strong possibility that I will join. I just don't know if I have what it takes to become a Marine Officer. The thoughts that pop into my mind are questions like, will my GF be ok, will I make it through Training, Where will I be stationed and so forth?
I seeking the knowledge of the people that know how to answer this question best, former or Current Marine Officers, or anyone who is in a close relationship with a Marine officer. I also want to know how people that in close relationships with Marine Officers feel about that person when they are over seas, or in Iraq. I don't know that much about the USMC personally, only what I have read and from hearsay. Please help me with my decsion. I don't want to look back 20-30 years from now and say, why did I not join?
