How do we find out where to ship our belongings ahead to at our first duty station? Is this what you are supposed to do or do you have to wait until you have an address? We have to report to Fort Lewis, Washington by November 19th.

I have been married for a month and am 7 months pregnant. My husband left for basic training November 1st. Ever since he left I have felt like we're broken up even though everything was fine before he left. I am also feeling insecure that he will find someone else in the Air Force. I know a guy who just graduated Tech school that did. I have never felt insecure with my husband before. He has always made me feel like I was the only one he wanted. He even worked with nothing but girls before he left and I didn't feel the way I do now. But now not having talked to him it makes me feel like this. I know that I won't recieve a letter for probably another couple of days. But I want to know if anyone thinks that my feelings are vaild and if anyone else has experienced this? Any help would be appreciated.

He didn't mean, of course, the patriotism which is a noble, genuine love for what's best about your country and its beauty and its achievements and so on, but those who wrap themselves in flags and blow the tinny trumpet of patriotism as a means of fooling the people. As a means of getting them to fall in behind the colours and march off to ignoble wars; wars of conquest, wars of aggression, wars for exploitation. For instance - the way George Bush uses 9-11 to scare people into believing in his Imperialist war.

Saddam Hussein was dictator of Iraq from 1979 until 2003, when his regime was overthrown by a United States-led invasion. Hussein had joined the revolutionary Baath party while he was a university student. He launched his political career in 1958 by assassinating a supporter of Iraqi ruler Abdul-Karim Qassim. Saddam rose in the ranks after a Baath coup, and by 1979 he was Iraq's president and de facto dictator. He led Iraq through a decade-long war with Iran, and in August of 1990 his forces invaded the neighboring country of Kuwait. A U.S.-led alliance organized by George Bush (the elder) ran Hussein's forces out of Kuwait in the Gulf War, which ended in February of 1991 with Saddam still in power. In 2002 Hussein came under renewed pressure from George W. Bush, the son of the first President Bush. In March of 2003, Hussein's regime was overthrown by an invasion of U.S. and British forces.

Whereas Iraq has consistently breached its cease-fire agreement between Iraq and the United States, entered into on March 3, 1991, by failing to dismantle its weapons of mass destruction program, and refusing to permit monitoring and verification by United Nations inspections; Whereas Iraq has developed weapons of mass destruction, including chemical and biological capabilities, and has made positive progress toward developing nuclear weapons capabilities"—From a joint resolution submitted by Tom Harkin and Arlen Specter on July 18, 2002.

"Saddam’s goal … is to achieve the lifting of U.N. sanctions while retaining and enhancing Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction programs. We cannot, we must not and we will not let him succeed."—Madeline Albright, 1998.

"(Saddam) will rebuild his arsenal of weapons of mass destruction and some day, some way, I am certain he will use that arsenal again, as he has 10 times since 1983"—National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, Feb 18, 1998.

just a few "snipets" of what top dem's said..."[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq’s refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."—From a letter signed by Joe Lieberman, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara A. Milulski, Tom Daschle, & John Kerry among others on October 9, 1998.

"This December will mark three years since United Nations inspectors last visited Iraq. There is no doubt that since that time, Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to refine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer- range missiles that will threaten the United States

Have you ever watched 'Hotel Rwanda'? What do you think about genocide and how the people getting killed off just want someone to come and protect them because their own government won't/can't?
The case in Rwanda was that no one wanted to get involved despite the killing of almost a million people that weren't doing anything wrong, watch the movie...Do you think our presence in Iraq is similar, to save some of the oppressed..or do you think it was only for the gain of oil?
