just a few "snipets" of what top dem's said..."[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq’s refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."—From a letter signed by Joe Lieberman, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara A. Milulski, Tom Daschle, & John Kerry among others on October 9, 1998.

"This December will mark three years since United Nations inspectors last visited Iraq. There is no doubt that since that time, Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to refine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer- range missiles that will threaten the United States

destruction." - Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that
Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he
has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare

and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." - Al Gore,

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein
has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery
capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to
terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam

EVERYONE believed that Iraq had WMD's...but Repubs take the blame b/c liberals back out after we had failed to find them and then they took that step back and straight up lied and said "we were always against it, we never believed Iraq was a threat...." yada yada yada...they always lie it comes as no surprise.

We were all wrong about WMD's but Repubs are the only ones who can face it, but it doesnt matter b/c it was necessary to liberate Iraq and destroy a POTENTIAL threat. He has always been a threat and even more so after terrorism began to grow, b/c he was harboring terrorists and supporting terrorism (Al Qaida) and there were plenty of terrorist training camps in Iraq that we've destroyed, which also foiled many planned attacks as well. We have installed a new govt that has the same views as our own and we are helping to build their military so they can defend itself. We have also built schools, hospitals, and just a better community....does the news ever show this? Hell no...its ok though...we know we did the right thing, liberals know it was the right thing as well they just cant admit it b/c of how close minded they are to anything a Repub believes is correct........

Do Conservatives Tell The Truth?

"Good job, Brownie." George W. Bush telling the FEMA Director he had helped all the victims of Hurricane Katrina. That's why so many are still homeless and in need of government aid.

"Mission Accomplished" Banner seen on US aircraft carrier after Bush landed and said the Iraq war was over. That's why we're still there several years later.

"After all, I'm the Decider." Just one of many stupid comments made by the heroic George W. Bush during his presidency. Just what the hell has he decided other than the fact that more Americans will die in Iraq?

And the list is endless.

Good Job, Shut up Cindy! The libs on here don't like to hear about all this. They want to sweep all those comments under the rug and blame everything on "STILL PRESIDENT" G.W. Bush!
The fact that Bush is still the president pisses them off so bad they can't see straight.

btw....What does Hurricane Katrina have to do with this question? Libs lie, they lie, they lie and they lie some more.
Vote Republican on November 7th for the safety of our country!

Cindy is right on! Liberals have a tendency to regurgitate the things that they "think" they public wants to hear at the moment... causing a general appearance of "flip flopping" or lying.
I sincerely think that they believe in what they're saying (and thus not "lying" in the literal meaning of the word.) Sadly, it appears as though they haven't learned to old adage that "you can't please everyone all of the time". But, with them running back and forth trying to do so, not learning the In's and outs of issues for themselves, and having speeches written for them by jaded, mis-informed, and mis-guided people results in their back-tracking or covering lies time and time again.

If people did not allow their raw emotions to play with their ability to reason of think logically, I don't think we'd have so many liberals in the first place!

What the hell?

The only lying going on came from Bush, Cheney, and Rummy. Heck, they even lied to Powell, who resigned in disgust.

Where do you get off putting this on the democrats?
